The Trust put out a video update last week and they said it wouldn't be completed until Easter at the earliest and they also explained why it would take that long and is only the journalists who have papers to sell that keep trying to create a news story saying it will be done this day or saying it will be done that day. I don't think that Liam Kennedy that writes for the Mail has ever been right about anything so God knows why people still listen to him as he just prints any old rubbish to get people buying papers or clicking on their crappy website that's just full of adverts anyway !

Without knowing the detail it will be something like the deal in principal is agreed, each parties lawyer then protects their own position. A whole bunch of points will reach an impasse where the respective lawyers won't budge which takes the decisions back to the various parties who will eventually agree (or they should).

All pretty standard stuff, it will get done eventually.

The rumours I have heard is that SIngh wants Gray as his manager at Pools. The other one is Gray wants Singh as his chairman at York where he could make a canny wedge on some soon to be vacant land in a nice part of York where a single house can go for a few hundred thousand.

Could it be that everything is on hold and the way forward hinges on which division the respective clubs find themselves in at the end of the season? Just a thought.

The Trusts latest statement clears things up.

Stelling maybe didnt help and jumped the gun by suggesting it could be sorted on Tuesday and the locals papers did their usual bit in trying to sell papers by saying its going to be announced shortly etc when it was a load of bollocks.

Good job we have the Trust keeping us in the loop with actual information.

Why leave it to the Trust though????
Surely the consortium could have announced something of this nature, which would have gone along way to allaying our fears and prevented at least a proportion of rumour mongering and genuine concern.
Jeff Stelling is a fan just like us. You would think that he would want to keep the fans in the loop. After all what effort needs to be applied to something like "everything is in place, apart from ratification from the national league, which we expect before too long."
It makes me think that our fears, worries and edginess are of very little concern to this consortium.
An opportunity has been missed by the consortium to impress the fans and keep them onside.
They'll keep us informed pretty dam quick when they want us to commit to season tickets.
I am not impressed one little bit.
