Orient get nearly a 1,000 more than us in for home games and they've been garbish all season too.

Just shows if you're badly run, debt riddled club gate receipts and season ticket just get swallowed up. Also some of those clubs that have low attendances, but are doing well, are part-time and have small staff costs.

I actually though that the other night when I looked at the table, how bad have Orient been? This League is abysmal and them with a big budget, good crowds and plenty of players with a good pedigree are only two points ahead of us who at least have an excuse, what’s theirs!?

top 5 were long established football league clubs and i imagine rightly or wrongly still being run like they always were. others like boreham wood are traditional non league outfits being run with a lot of volunteers getting next to nowt for their efforts.

Anyone know what it would look like if it was based on chip consumption?

I reckon we’d be near the bottom since we don’t sell them, but I think we’d just be safe of relegation because of our away form.

:naughty: I bought some on Tuesday

I would buy that game. Just imagine contemplating how many bags of chips to buy, liaising with security staff on bottle top safety, hiring and firing ball boys/girls. after the season you could arrange pop concerts and car boot sales. This game is a winner. The options are endless.

I'll invest. So will Dad.

What exactly do those figures represent, Mr Stocksfield? I'm assuming that they are average gates?

An identical list appeared in the Maidstone programme showing both average and highest gates but, apart from a few changes in position, there the similarity ends. I have no idea as to it's accuracy but Pools highest gate was shown as 4,526 against Sutton which is incorrect on both counts. What happened to the 6,833 who were at the Vic for Wrexham???
