Made his International debut today playing the full game in Northern Irelands 2-1 win against South Korea. Very pleased for him as he comes across as a sound bloke.

The incredible thing is, reading an article in the lead up to the game he was offered a substantial pay rise in the summer to stay at Pools and was significantly worse off moving to Motherwell in the SPL rather than staying at a fifth tier club in England but was told by Michael O'Neill that he needed to be playing at a higher level which is why he moved. It's fairly mad when you think about that, and even more when you consider Pools financial meltdown just a few months later.

Jones has been playing brilliantly for Kilmarnock this year, who also have Aaron Tshibola and Alan Power in their ranks.
