He should be playing on a Sunday morning.

You should be his agent if you're going to overrate the lad that much.

He is the direct cause of so many goals against and in the same way it’s embarrassing. He isn’t capable of learning or improving. It’s a sad state of affairs when a player like him is first choice.

Go one down and go then pieces. This team, sadly, will be relegated again.

Surely someone in the reserves deserves a chance before him being selected again.

To be fair to Harrison, Barrow's big black defender makes him look pacey.

He had a game of two halves there! Obviously played through an injury and battled well.

Their goal was a great ball, a fast striker and a wayward shot which took a lucky deflection of the keeper deflecting it towards goal.

That’s the thing though, he can look half decent the majority of the game but there seems to be a big mistake in him every game

He made another not long after being caught the wrong side of James. Trying to dribble on the halfway line before the realisation sunk in that he's not a great footballing mind like Sol Campbell and he fell to pieces, thankfully Barrow were very wasteful during their 15 min spell.

I think Laing and Harrison have enough about them to keep us up under Bates but it's without doubt the area most needing improvement in the summer. But that's just stating the bleeding obvious!

That’s one the main reasons he’s shite, hes way too headstrong and doesn’t have a football brain. In his mind he’s knows he’s just made an awful mistake so he had to make up for it by going on a mazy dribble and smashing it in the top corner or play a defense splitting through ball. Just do your job in first place, get goal side, stick to your man, head it, clear it. The basics. This League is absolutely horrific if you have players who can do the ugly side of the game to a reasonable standard consistently then you will probably be top five.

Playing above his level, will fit in very well at Evo Stik North level.

We need someone with plenty experience who talks, puts his head in where it hurts, keeps it simple and simply organises. I think laing and donnelly would benefit from this. Problem is finding them and being allowed to bring players in.

He makes the same mistake every. single. week. I am only surprised that Barrow didn't exploit him more. Despite how shit we have been this season, we would probably be in and around the play-offs if he hadn't been forced to play.

As Brian Clough used to say 'You are a centre-half, head it and kick it, and give it to someone who's better than you!'

Not convinced about the play off bit!

If they had got James more involved in the game I'm sure they would have exploited our weakness, but they lost the battle in the middle

Yeah maybe not. We'd certainly be top half and well safe of relegation, though.

He may have had a canny second half, and it might have been a good through ball, but for the goal he was totally the wrong side of his man again

Exactly. Some Poolies are generous to a fault. One win and Scott Harrison has the makings of a decent defender and Craig Harrison just had a bit of bad luck, what with Watson getting injured...

The last time Pools went unbeaten for 3 matches was October. That was well before Sage put the club up for sale, when Pools had almost as many backroom staff as they have fit players now.

Does Scott Harrison not know how to play the offside rule. If he had taken one step forward at the right time last night Luke James would have been well offside when the ball was played through for their goal. A centre half can be slow but still effective if they can read the game and play smart.

That’s a good point but has some flaws:

Scott Harrison can’t read the game
Scott Harrison will never play smart

He's got the slow bit nailed though.
