Thought that was the Vic at first glance!!

I know the first goal was an own goal, but the players just walk back as if they couldn’t care less. Bizzare.

Yes, I thought exactly that. At first I thought that the ref had disallowed it. It seemed like they didn' give a sh*t.

Their 2nd and Rodney's were very similar, both crackers.

Maybe Pools players didn't celebrate the first goal as the knew it would always be cancelled out.

My browser doesn't like those NL highlights, so had to watch it on Away The Lads. Cracking goals, had to do a double take, as both identical. About time they started to shoot on sight, been saying if for years, always shoot when in the box, but these were outside, CHAMPION !. Wonder if it was because the clock was ticking down though?

Think we definitely know the players are playing for Bates, which gives us a chance. The quality isn't there, in every department , but the workrate, effort and desire now seem to be . By all accounts they missed a couple of sitters first half, if they can just sharpen up in attack and have more goals like this across the whole game rather than when in last chance saloon and we may avoid relegation. Basically the last 5 mins of this game was like the first 85 of the Woking home game, in terms of finishing.

I think it’s partly out sportsmanship to be honest it was a decent ball in from Adams but there isn’t a Pools player within five to ten yards of the lad who heads it, Cassidy celebrates, Rhys Oates looks like he’s doing his best not to laugh. It was a shocker from the Fylde point of view he didn’t even have to head it and the keeper makes a mess of it. You can’t really celebrate like you’ve Just pinged one in the top corner when the other team have all but scored for you. I imagine with careers on the line they all give a shit.
