I hear tell of an initial investment by Raj Singh to keep the wolves from the door. It can only be inferred that confirmation is pretty imminent.

If true fair play to Raj for putting his money where his mouth is. Wonder if they got the extra £600k and if so where from?

Hopefully this is enough to see the club safe off the pitch to the end of the season. Now if the Bates and the players can convert their recent effort into points we can stay up. Then we can breathe again and proper plans and management can be put in place to sustain the long term future of the club.

There'd be more chance of that if the transfer embargo is lifted - and if the NL is satisfied Pools are going to finish the season there's no reason it shouldn't. Even at this late stage of the season a few more bodies are essential. I wonder if Keith Watson is fit to play? It'd be brilliant to have him back, for one.

Fingers crossed? Whilst remaining sceptical of Raj I can only commend Jeff Stelling for busting a gut to try and save the club .hopefully it'll go through on whatever terms? The mysterious Mr Blackledge must surely want to wash his hands and realise he ain't gonna get his cash out. It would be great if the town could come together , heal the rift, have fan involvement with a share and say in the club and one or two local business persons on board to really get the club back up.
I'll always be sceptical of Raj but at least he has come forth, it would be great now t get the rivalry going with Darlo again like Celtic and Rangers, Newcastle Sunderland again ... Think of the chants and abuse likes would give us another Mr Singh....

In the short term hopefully it means the National League will lift the transfer embargo and we can get a couple of loan players in to help get some points on the board.
