Since I deceided not to go to the match yesterday, Me and my dad have deceided to make the trip to Fylde from my understanding it's just past Blackpool, We have also deceided to book into a travel lodge/Hotel for the night and drive back the following morning so we an have a few cheeky ones during and after the game. We were going to go to barrow but seen as its on the tele would be a waste off money.

Any suggestions on pubs with decent crub etc? Also we will be staying the night in Blackpool after the game anybsuggestions for decent hotels?

Nothing of note near the ground other than a small retail park.

Might be an idea to have more than a few cheeky ones before you go into the ground - they beat Aldershot 7-1 yesterday and are the top scorers in the National League.

I might have one for each goal they score against us, Tranmere away people anyway could be a important game for them and us, Are the poolies still dressing up?

Last season they were serving inside the ground as well so it got a bit messy with a few of the Darlo following who couldn't handle their booze and a defeat.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR HARTLEPOOL UNITED SUPPORTERS VISITING MILL FARM
With the opening of AFC Fylde’s new stadium last year, the club introduced a simple system for travelling supporters to purchase tickets in advance.
Courtesy of the new state-of-the-art ticketing system, away supporters can now buy tickets online, print off at home and go straight to the turnstile on the day!
To purchase tickets for AFC Fylde vs Hartlepool United on Saturday 17th March, 2018, visit www.afcfylde.co.uk, click on the tickets tab and follow the simple process.
Supporters can also choose to have their tickets posted out, however these must be purchased by 3pm on Wednesday 14th March 2018 to guarantee delivery.
Tickets can also be purchased on the day from the ticket office, although it is advised to buy in advance to prevent any potential delays/queuing.
Please note that free onsite parking at the stadium is available but limited. Once the free parking is full, the overflow carpark is available at £5 per car.
For those travelling by train, the ground is just a 10 minute walk from Kirkham station.
If you arrive early don’t miss the opportunity to have a drink in Bradleys Sports Bar located at the ground, recently voted the best sports bar in the UK, where both food and drinks are very competitively priced. See www.bradleyssportsbar.com for more information.
For any enquiries please call AFC Fylde on 01772 598855 and ask for Gary or Sean.

get there early is my best advice for those who are coming by car. the downside is there,s sod all to do once you get there. do not wait till the final whistle also unless the result is in doubt as its basically one way in and one way out up to the motorway unless traffic jams are your thing.

I agree. As I said on another thread, form guide suggests thrashing, but could also be a coupon buster. Despite teams regularly beating each other 7-1 etc, there is no one outstanding , that can't be beat in this league. My only worry is to win you have to score goals. Shame Fylde don't have Jamie Carragher and Lewis Dunk in their defence.

They have that Danny Rowe don't along with Jordan Richards, Rowe scored a Hatrick at the weekend within 20 minutes, I'm sure we tried to sign him a couple off season back.

Richards is now at Southport. He only played a handful of games for Fylde

Fylde look as though they have a young team, with a couple of hotheads in it. Player who got sent off last week , it was his 4th red of the season I think. They will be fit and fast , but if we had a decent coaching team, I'm sure there could be a way of beating them , thing is I don't think we have. Still given the absurdity of results in this league this season, it must be our turn to go somewhere and win 4 or 5 -1. Get Rodney or Hawkes and Oates on both wings and just go at them.

Hahaha funnily enough that's the site I was looking at it on, I wonder what will of happend to our terracing if we could could off held on for another 9 minutes + in 2005, I believe you can't have terracing in the championship so probably would of ended up with a all
Seated vic....Mmmmm if only!

Think you get a couple of seasons grace, before you have to put in seats. We would of been back down in div 1 by then

I believe we would of played Sunderland that year aswell if we would have held on for those 9 minutes plus, Eeeeeee if onlyy ehhh! The way things are going looks like Sunderland are doing a Leeds not that they were as succesfull as Leeds, But I have this funny feeling they will go down and linger down there for a while. Any Sunderland fans on the forum by the way?

If there is one thing Sunderland tend to do right, its bounce straight back up, they will be alright next season, they will bounce straight back. There is big difference between league 1 and Championship, hence Wigan and Blackburn proving this season.

Sunderland are twice as successful historically as Leeds. FACT.

I don't know about that one like I was reading in the papers this week that some off their players are still on the likes off 50-60 grand a week a think Rodwell is on 70grand a week, If they go down which I think they will I think they will do a Leeds and stay down there for a few seasons before they get there shit together my sisters boyfriend has a season ticket for them and goes with his mates about 10 off them and they have said the football they are playing is mediocre league one standard football.

Just stopped off at Tebay Service station, The Darlington team were there as they are playing North Ferriby United, Anyway me and me dad where having a cup off coffee and I recognised their badge a said dad "watch this" a said "What team you play for mate"? He replied "Darlington Bro" Anyway so I said have you seen this pulled my leg up and revealed my Hartlepool United badge Tattoo he just turns round and sank his head back into his scrambled egg with a face on him!

That's my good day for the deed done don't care if we lose now at least I pissed a table of Darlington players off

You should have told them they were heading in the wrong direction for a home game, mind last time I checked North Ferriby which is near Hull is fair detour from Tebay services as well  So instead of revealing your leg I reckon telling them that they were in the wrong part of the country would have pissed them off more.

Come on Smithy level with us, is this story like the one when David Hodgson ‘threw bananas’ at Pools fans in his best selling autobiography?
