It saddens me that despite Jeff’s huge contact list in the Premier league both owners and footballers plus ITV no one is prepared to come forward with the balance of the £2m needed to save us. Perhaps Geoff Cunningham can email all of Jeff’s contacts guaranteeing anonymity if needed to offer up days/weeks of their enormous earnings. This would make a brilliant drama/ documentary! Who can we get to play Coxhall/Pam/Blackledge/HUST/Bunker/fwends board/Proboard1908/ etc etc. An oscar is guaranteed

Its not just the money for this season though is it it is the fact they still have a huge army of staff that need paying most of who have contracts that cant be torn up so they will keep losing £120k a month next season and probably more as they will have a Football League set up and players on big wages and they will be at least a division lower and who will still be injured or crap thanks to our head of recruitment !

We have players on big salaries on the longer than usual contract, as per info provided via the trust statement last week, relegation would see us having to still honour those contracts. Very similar to Sunderland if they drop to league one.

Anyone who takes us on would have to take that on too.

To be honest I cant believe that people cant believe that businessmen, people who make money through good decisions, wont throw money at a debt ridden club. Why would they?

I'm surprised that people are surprised by surprises.

We'd all be amazed and surprised by the amount of successful business people who have (tried to)run a football club as a hobby (and failed), not using the business acumen/model where they made their wealth!
