I said last week that you can trust Pam and here is the proof.

I have some knowledge of the work that she's been undertaking and the state of the club when she took over. Make no mistake, Pamela Duxbury has saved HUFC from administration. Not just because of finances but because she's been transparent with the likes of HMRC and others.

The transfer of shareholding from Coxall/Goldberg is huge and to have achieved it at almost no payment is a great achievement.

We now move into an audit process, both statutory and voluntary. The latter being with the Trust's appointee. I'm confident that the accounts will be a true reflection but that will include the box of frogs that Pam inherited.

I genuinely believe that we are entering a new era for the club and fans. There is a spirit of openness and togetherness that has not been around since the Hornsey era. We're not out of the woods yet but we do now have a club and a CEO we can trust.

Well done Pam.

On a separate note - how smart and streamlined is the Official site these days?

Much better than last season etc

I don't really want a season ticket. Every time I've bought one (couple of times in the 1980s and the last 5 seasons) Pools have been dire at home. I'm starting to feel it's me owning a season ticket that's the jinx.

But for you, Pam - it's a deal!

Outstanding work by Pam and her team, I cannot really imagine what she inherited but clearly she has ben faced with enormous challenges. Apart from being grateful I am astonished at what she has achieved, against all the odds in a relatively short period of time.

The whole dialogue coming from the club in recent weeks has smacked of transparency and no shortage of professionalism.

We really do seem to be on the crest of a wave on and off the pitch, and I know that sounds mad having just dropped out the league but I feared the worst.

A massive well done indeed. Fantastic work and thanks again all concerned for the communication.

Fantastic read, just what we have all been wanting, openess with the fans. Things seem to be getting better every day, I can,t wait for the fixtures to come out now and get planning away days.

Now lets see those season tickets flying out the door.

A massive thank you Pam.

Hard to fault that statement. Clear about what happened over recent months and about what is coming next. A pretty strong implication that JPNG were up to no good as well. Nothing for their shares suggests that Gary realised that Pam could do him some real damage if he pushed his luck any further.

Big thank you to Pam and everybody that has worked with her.

My thoughts when I read the statement.

Well done Pam, Sage, John and the Supporters Direct group who found a way to get Coxhall out. Onwards and upwards

Well that's the talk talked, and I'm not insinuating that the walk won't be walked; but there's a question begging to be asked: why is Pam Duxbury actually bothered about Pools?

She seems to have a track record sorting out/helping community businesses and a long standing business relationship with Sage. If she can help them to get paid back, and help the club by avoiding administration, she'll be earning her probably decent but not excessive wages. Get things running decently and then get a new ownership model in place and she'll be able to bow out with a high profile achievement on her CV. All reason enough to get involved even if she was never bothered about Pools until Sage got worried about Coxall and parachuted her in.

Well batted Pam Duxbury. Great financial management and a very coherent, inspiring statement showing considerable intellect. She must have faced terrible resistance over the last 6 months from Coxall. You have our support.

Outstanding news.

Well done to all involved getting through this troubled period in Pools history, especially Pam for sticking in when I'm sure it would have easier many times to cut and run.

Here's to next season - thanks again Pam.

The future plans for the ownership of the Football Club are as I have previously outlined; part ownership through the Supporters’ Trust and a consortium of individuals willing to invest in the football club.

How did that work out Pam?
