That word INVESTOR again, I don't like it. Anyway, what's a wrong with meeting in The Staincliffe? It was good enough for Graham Potter the Ostersunds manager , a few weeks ago.

We are completely fucked without at least one serious investor Mr Horden, we are starting again.

Not wanting to get too ahead ourselves this bloke is clearly interested and genuine, it was even mentioned in the commentary on BT Sport in last weeks first leg about Pools which suggests it was spoken about in Sweden and now talks are apparently taking place before tonight’s second leg at the Emirates. The best thing about this bloke he seems all about the football and the team being succesful, getting the right people involved and the structure of the club. Exactly what needs to happen and has been missing at Pools for a long time. What he’s done at Ostersunds is remarkable. Also the club has plenty of obvious links to this area so we can see where the interest has come from.

So if he was one of our investors that we so desperately need to save us I would personally like it very, very much. What is not to like!!? I’d drive him from Sweden myself if it meant Pools were saved and we got rid of the parasites bleeding our great little club dry. If Mr Kindberg wants to try and replicate what has happened in Sweden by taking a non League club into Europe he’s more than welcome to have a go at the Vic!

I’m not going again until Zlatan is playing up front for us in the Europa League though.

Cos it's shut, this is what's holding up the sale. Otherwise the club would have been sold weeks ago.

Whoa you what!?

This also explains the transfer embargo we can’t expect interested parties or prospective signings to sleep rough.

He is interested he said he is on Swedish TV last month but I supppose it’s down to if him and the rest of his investors (sorry Horden) have enough cash to fill the black hole which is crippling the club. Theirs clearly something in it and he hardly needs the publicity as his Swedish club have created a fairly good story without that. Let’s see, at least it’s something that keeps us in the spotlight and offers even a glimmer of hope as it’s been too quiet.

It is true then something must have changed since Musgrave pulled out. Either that or they are not far enough down the line to understand the extent of the mess.

Be fantastic if it happens, but I fear a further disappointment.

It seems like an opportunity has presented itself, with him being in London, to discuss stuff. I doubt Kindberg initiated the contact but fair play to the bloke if he is prepared to listen. I suspect when approached he said there is no point in discussing anything if we are still talking £1.8m. So if the talks do go ahead there may be something in it

You know what I mean PJ. The word INVESTOR reeks of those that have raped and pillaged the country over the last 35 years or so. I know we need someone with money, but I just wish they would call them something else thats all. Mind you as well as being a football loving man, he does dabble in property development, so beware. Remember what you have just said, people said similar things about Coxhall only a couple of years ago.

What are the chances though... Zlatan buys the club the same week as Meatloaf completes on his new house. The good times are back!

Its not just about someone having money, The guts of the club need riping out and restructuring correctly.
And if memory serves me right this bloke said if he was not interested he would say so, By the 24th january or there abouts.
And i,ve always found Swedish people i,ve dealt with to be honorable, But only time will tell.
If things work out i would expect the takeover to be swift.

It is only a proper rumour if it comes from Pams People. They said Collier and Wood were taking over this week and I completely believe them.

If Sage keep this show on the road till the end of the month it'll be a surprise. It would be an absolute miracle if they kept it going till the back end of April. With what?

With the millions of capital they must have - after all they lent Coxall over £1m so can't be skint. This is just poker, finding out who is bluffing who. Are they likely to fold and lose out on all of the potential winnings, or put a bit more in the pot to live a few more rounds and see what comes up? They didn't have to gamble anything last month because of JustGiving, but now is when we find out if they're playing the game or not.

I read an interview with Edwards last week and he got turned down by pools after a trial then lost interest in football for a while. He said after a rejection by pools where do you go from there!

No-one can realistically argue with that statement at present I'm afraid. And unless his buddies at TNS are prepared to take him back the latest reject Craig Harrison will find it extremely difficult to find another professional club that is prepared to offer him a management role just as his failed predecessors, Scott, the Cooper(s), Collins, Higgy, Jones and several other half-forgotten faces have done before him.

Colin Cooper was on the England bench for a while, I'm sure he has a decent job at the FA now.

I believe that he may indeed have a decent and (doubtless pressure-free) job at the FA but its not a professional club management position that he was looking for - he applied for plenty of those after Pools but was continually knocked back. Another who came armed with a multitude of coaching/management certificates but couldn't deliver and was hopelessly exposed after Higgy left him high and dry.

There are about 100 professional coaching jobs in England, 90% of which are better than the pools job. It’s hardly surprising that no manager has used pools as a springboard given our record over the last decade.

You seem to be against coaching badges so presumably you want a good football man?

I think Harrison will find something, possibly a more behind the scenes roll like Colin Cooper. Harrison and Cooper are possibly good coaches but not managers. Managers are a species all of their own, you cant really teach it, you either have it or you don't. Most of the good managers in Britain are dour types, your Colemans, Stills, Warnocks, Pulis, Alladyrce , Cotterill, Hill. They usually have someone with more knowledge of the game working alongside them, but what the manager does is manager, motivate and call the correct decisions. Problem is with the British game is too many managers are really coaches in disguise, and that's were they fail, two different types of person required for two different roles. Coaching badges etc cloud that.

Hopefully harrison will learn from his experience here and start again somewhere else.

It will have certainly taught him a lot about owners, players letting you down, and also fans rallying to save a club.

When you say Harrison may be a good coach, has he improved any individual players?
He'll get a job if he's got mates in the game but I'd be surprised if he got a first team managers job again, certainly in England anyway. He looked out of his depth and interviews were cringeworthy at times.

He's certainly a strong character to have put up with everything at pools and people have mentioned his charity efforts so hopefully he does find something.

I don't get this issue with interviews, I'd happily never hear another manager get interviewed again, I genuinely don't know what people want to hear. Managers/players interviews all follow a template, blah blah we go again etc etc, excellent travelling support, blah blah, the lads are disappointed/over the moon blah blah.

Is Shearer potentially involved in this consortium? Suggestions he may be supporting an offer for the club.

It's not the interviews themselves anyone has an issue with it's how he portrayed himself when doing them.

If I was in the dressing room and he mumbled gibberish with the odd cliché thrown in I'd struggle to have faith in him.

It's not the interviews themselves anyone has an issue with it's how he portrayed himself when doing them.

If I was in the dressing room and he mumbled gibberish with the odd cliché thrown in I'd struggle to have faith in him.
