You are right there Mr Parmo, we were in Tesco this morning and she bought the new Ronan Keating single, another cover version that he has done. I wouldn't care but the original is a canny song but he has spoiled it

Unfortunately not, but that would be funny though

It is Iris, I know the Goo Goo Dolls done it but don't know if that was the original though

If you like it, it's good music, that's the beauty of music we all like different stuff.

I like BR, Elvis thinks it's crap, c'est la vie.

You know I didn't mean British Rail, Salty. Just didn't think I could say the song title out loud without upsetting Mr Glasses.

Couldn't possible mention my better halfs ability with the pink oboe, as most of you know her :uhoh:

[quote="Elvis Costellos Glasses"]My Mrs likes really good music!

Thin Lizzy
Van Morrison
Eddi Reader
Everything But The Girl
Massive Attack
Roddy Frame

Sounds like a classy lady!
my lady likes the same stuff as me by and large.she is coming to see the subways tonight, she does sway off and play the odd scissor sisters cd but most things can be forgiven, and she does have a near stalking love of all things Squeeze.

WTF is George Michael all about anyway. He has NEVER written ONE SINGLE song worthy of any mention. He is the most overrated bag of musical shite in the history of mankind. How the hell is he popular at all, let alone after all this time?

Yeah but he is a chutney ferret so the media love him and pretend he has talent.

Our lass has some very good stuff and some very bad stuff (George Michael included I'm afraid).

I used to go out with a bewer who was a bit unhinged, yet she had all sorts of superb CDs - indie, folk, techno, and even dub reggae! I think quality music is still more of a blokely thing though, most lasses do listen to mainstream dull nonsense like James Blunt.
