I'm guessing the Hatter was Watson , and that it was Watson who was behind Marty losing his job.

Or that Pam is concerned that the online interest in Watson will hinder her chances of hauling up the last couple of buckets of money? They can always meet up back at Full Ninety to plan a new venture once they've extracted every penny possible from Pools.

I’m even suspicious of the dredger now, what’s it looking for? It’s like that Fools and Horses episode to ‘Hull and Back’ I’ll swear I saw Pam on the bridge saying ‘... now try over there...’

My immediate reaction to that article is, eh? and, what the fuck?

He won’t leave his role immediately!?

Can’t we just march down to the Vic and turf them out in miliatary style coup? Do they think people are fucking stupid seriously is this meant to appease us or calm us down by leaking out he’s going to the right people? They’re all going, the club is for sale, the club is on the brink.

Maybe a condition on any sale, tbh I can’t believe Sage have been so naive or have they made a few quid at Pools expense ?

The article refers to the ‘failed Craig Hignett and Dave Jones regimes’... I never considered Craig Hignett’s tenure a failure given the circumstances.

I wonder if this has anything to do with the alleged meetings that are ongoing with Stelling and his proposed consortium.
Now that the books have supposedly been put straight, maybe the interested parties are wielding the proverbial knife having been made aware of where the main financial burdens on the club are.
Mere speculation I know but that is where we are of late.
I keep telling myself that Musgrave is still interested, probably more in hope than anything else. He did say however that as things stand he was unable to go forward. Maybe things have changed sufficiently for his interest to be rekindled.
A lot of maybe's I know but I hope and pray that I'm on the right track.

The cynic in me thinks he'll have got a redundancy payoff rather than sticking around and getting nothing if administration comes. (Not that I want it to etc...)

Surely that would be the story then the club being sold, not the departure of one of the leeches?

Call me cynical but he’s done all of his destruction off the radar now he’s been outed by Compo’s post and Hignett it’s all of sudden leaked out that they’re getting rid of him. How convenient. Oh and he won’t be going for free that’s for sure.

Scumbags the lot of them.

2 weeks ago he was hammered by hignett
The next day the echo ran a piece praising him and saying how good it was he put a clause in carsons contract, not mentioning the absolute bargain price we sold him at.
Then the fans, compo especially, start revealing why he's here and whats gone on.
Then he conveniently leaves his post.

Funny that eh.

Asset stripping and running.

Pam claimed she dipped into struggling companies for a couple of years to help them out, does any one know of any of her previous success stories we could look in to?
I wander if they resemble our success story?

It’s so clear it’s asset stripping. They are even selling anything they can and offering cheap hospitality. Closing down everything must go. I reckon if you went into Duxbury’s office for a meeting you could take a paperweight and her chair home with you for £15.

Agree with the above.
And hope they will be willing to let the club go to the highest bidder, Fingers crossed.

And Watson has not gone anywhere yet, So they say.

LBC Duxbury she is either not the brightest button in the box loaning money to Coxhall or a very astute business woman ?

Only in Hartlepool could you see supporters watch a club being asset stripped and then raise 80k to give the asset strippers.

Surely the departure of such a key cog in the machine would warrant an article on the Official Site. Hopefully its a clearing of the decks for a new owner but it could be a reaction to the criticism for Hignett and others and the risk of an FA/FL inquiry into conflict of interest. It would be nice if full ninety lost their agents license.

I’m picking up one of the Town End floodlight columns later, so we can have summer nights all year round in the garden. Absolute bargain.

We were never formally introduced to any of these twats they snuck in through gaps like vermin, we should it be announced now? Watson has never been mentioned once officially whilst he’s gone about destroying a 110 year old club. The first person to mention Duxbury was Jones at his unveiling most people were ‘who is Pam?’

It is heartbreaking and sickening that we are totally powerless to what is happening here.

It’s the equivalent of saying he will leave eventually, which is meaningless. The only people interested are the papers and they’re really on the ⚽️ .

Funnily enough I went into ticket office on Monday for a Barrow ticket, and member of staff told me its pay on the day. She then started waffling about future away games, but I had lost interest and wasn't really listening, maybe she said something like there won't be any away tickets sold for the rest of the season, I may be wrong.

Then as I wallked into town, I started to wonder, maybe Pools have to pay for the pleasure of selling away tickets, after all its only a gesture of goodwill towards our supporters who travel away, so that it saves them the hassle of paying on the day. Now if Pools havent a pot to p*ss in, maybe that's why they are now not selling tickets for away games. I may be wrong, it could be a one off, or a coincidence, but they seem to have been selling tickets for away games up till now this season.

That is true , so why we not now doing it? can only think its either what you're suggesting or we cant afford and or be arsed with helping what other than Saturday will be a 100-200 away supporters at future away games.

More likely this lot have been keeping the away ticket money and not sending it back to the hosts. Wouldn’t be surprised if some of the creditors are recent away fixture clubs.
