Thank you horden. I am glad that there is footage of the three goals against a full strength Busby Babes.
Those were the days they played for about £14 a week and still gave everything for the Club.

different times, different attitudes to everything. did anyone really talk about directors in those days. i know i was only a kid then and all i knew were the players but i never heard my old man or his brothers mention those at the top. wish those days would return but like the vauxhall velox they are gone forever.

Directors in relative terms were never rich, small local business men usually whereas nowadays it’s megabucks or silver tongued spivs.
