.... the fans are going in two directions. There's the 'enough is enough' faction who realise that hard as it is, there is no way ( bar a poolie millionaire) we can we go on the way we are and have to accept change. Then there's the 'we can't give up' faction, determined to keep pumping into the club anything they can to keep flame alive, but it's flickering now. Trouble is it's like pumping blood into a comatose patient and not realising it's run by Dr Acula.
The club has no money now, so now it appears it's time for the fans to cough up, which is unrealistic, and when the well of good intentions finally dries up then what.
It's time for realism and a coming together, because the money transfusion from fans is the closing chapter.

The initial fundraising was to allow another months grace. Like others I had reservations about it but fair play as they have raised plenty of coin.

However to suggest that fans just continue with this strategy is crazy. The line needs to be drawn and I think that Musgrave’s statement was enough to say we need to plan for a different scenario now.

I think even when or if the worst does happen you’re still going to have a couple trying to make it all about them, finger pointing and creating more factions as it’s gone way too far. I can barely make head nor tale of today’s drama about what someone has said in a Tweet and why it’s so significant. Can someone englighten me? Random screen shots and links flying my all over. Ebbsfleet have been emailed to clarify, so rest assured it’s all civilised and people are going down mature channels to clarify it.

As far as I can work out, an Ebbsfleet fan set up a donation for Hartlepool united (not specifically the trust or justfundme) he tweets the amount and someone else quickly tweets thanks from justfundme, another fan contacts him to explain the situation and the money may be better in the trust's hands, the guy gives it to the trust. Apparently it's the crime of the century and the trust are thieves.

What is wrong with providing someone with all of the information so they can make a more informed decision?

This has now ignited my interest in Pools again, that would be brilliant.

We have a chairwoman who’s not been seen since a person looking to invest serious money into the club released a statement that basically showed her to incompetent and the finances totally out of control. We have had millions dissapear out of the club in the last two and a half years and have been constantly fobbed off, kept in the dark and lied to.

But we have a couple of people bending over backwards to divert every pound they can not to supporters who love the club but the people who are partly responsible for this whole mess. I can’t get my head around it it’s mental.

You after laugh at least one of those teams would be full of as beens.

The wages have been paid now and we have move on to the next step and eventuality, buying the club time month after month is not sustainable and not a penny more of good willed hard working fans cash can be poured into this black hole especially when Duxbury can’t even tell a bloke with £1.5 million ready to put into it how deep the hole is!!

Instead the duration of the appeal has been extended. It's great that they've bought time for a potential takeover but there's no way they can cover beyond the end of February. Unless we sell a Simpson, persuade the boro fans to come every time they are away and raise another 80k from fans around the world again in February it's game over. They've accomplished what they set out to do, now is the time to prepare for the worst case scenario in case we don't find a buyer by next pay day.

It was the absolute desperation to make some mud stick, an almost frantic state of hysteria it reminded me of the line in Phoenix Nights when Jerry St Clair says “I haven’t seen them this excited since they printed that peadofiles address in the paper” Chinese Kev wanted criminal charges because a bloke from Ebbsfleet decided he’d rather make a donation to our trust.

Have I read this right.
