I think we need to put to bed the notion of Harrison ‘walking’ he’d be an absolute idiot to do so. He has a family to support and with the clubs future so up in the air he is not going to resign while he is sitting little over six months into a three year deal (cheers again Mr Head of Recruitment, I reckon a Darlo fan trying to sabotage the club could have done a better job recruiting than you).

The only positive angle I can find is that these might actually be worse than us I can see a festival utter dirge being served up at the Deva Stadium with both teams stinking the place out hopefully we can come out the slightly less shittest in this lamentable dog with fleas.

‘The fans deserve better’, ‘we must cut out individual errors’, ‘we must be more clinical in front of goal, ‘ we need to be better in both penalty areas’ ‘we must not delay shooting when in sight of goal’, ‘we need to play at a higher tempo’ , ‘we need to concentrate for 95 minutes’ - take your pick and combine any three of the above which are only a small selection of the worn out excuses utilised this season by a tiresome individual who must have surely known for some time that he is way, way out of his depth and is clearly and embarrassingly not man enough for the job at hand.

4-0 half time 6-0 full time 3 pens and two of our spineless ( marshmallow) cowards sent off. Harrison still spouting we not a million miles away ...just one result will kick start our season...the boys in that dressing room are devastated because as always they give me 100% ... they hurt just like the fans do because these lads are totally genuine. Again its the odd defensive mistake that resulted in this 6-0 defeat that could very easily have been a victory.Triple training starting sunday and two reviews of the match footage to sort out these defensive mistakes the players keep making game on game. Its just a shame that I along with my coaching staff get " totally unfairly " tared with the same brush.

Chester City 1 Pools 0 "I can't fault the boys for not having a shot on goal because it was a windy night and it changed ends when we did and that big lad who I tried to sign for TNS had a once in a lifetime game. The pitch and referee were both awful but I am not blaming them in any way. I thought Featherlight up front with Loach brought us something new to the game. After hitchiking back to the NE we will re=group tomorrow, dust ourselves off (aka Smithy 1 - thanks Smithy 1), and go again. I'm really looking forward to our last home game with a packed crowd cheering us on against Torquay United as The Gulls and ourselves look forward to life in the National League North where we will re-group, dust ourselves off and go again. Yawn.

We will win relegation if that counts!

Well Torquay is north (east) of where I am now but hey, I'm confused, will be a pensioner in August and heard a rumour today that Billy Horner in on the short list (100 very experienced names) and is to be given a seven year contract when Mr Harrison eventually gets the message.
