Pools earlier announced the team news ahead of the match and confirmed that Watson has gone back and Franks’ contract has expired, doubt we will be able to get either of them back now with the current state of things. Also said that Donaldson is out for even longer, Munns is out for personal reasons and George is having more issues with injuries. No mention of Featherstone who has been missing or Newton who has struggled with injuries, also no mention of whether or not Adeloye is still at the club.

With that in mind, what would your team be for Saturday?

I’d go for a 4-2-3-1 of:

Loach

Magnay
Donnelly
Ledger
Adams

Woods
Featherstone (if fit, otherwise would be either Hawkins or Newton)

Oates
Deverdics
Blackford

Cassidy

I'd have Blackford & Hawkes in from the start

Fair play to the laundrette for standing fast. Bet the club are regretting auctioning all those old shirts off now

It's only going to be 3 degrees on Saturday, we can play in skins if necessary.

We have ticket money and Connor Simpson money... but we can't pay the laundry bill still?

Where's it going then?

Even more reason not to hand ANY money directly to any club official.

The laundry are legitimately owed money so why don't the holders of donations pay them directly?

Who knows who is owed what, by whom and since when!?

Yet still well meaning people are raising money for a complete unknown.

It's bizarre isn't it.

We've had 50k in for Conor Simpson yet still haven't paid the laundry bill, why not?

Excuses still being made for Pam and Sage by certain fans as well - despite questions being asked why we cant pay a laundry bill when there is money in the bank

I'd go with the 11 who are most up for it, and will respond in the right way to a full house.

It's not unlike the Donny game, which we did win, amazingly. If fit, Devante Rodney has got to start - he's already proved that he's got a big match temperament.

Probably because that's another debt the owners won't have to pay. Just how long has it been since the whole laundry business started...weeks, months...?

Valiant effort to get thoughts round to the upcoming football match Mr. Clever, but there's no appetite for it, as you can see.

Too soon.

Funnily enough, even with all the injuries, that would be the best team we've started with all season

I think the most pertinent question should be is why hasn't a laundry bill been paid for this long when apparently the club had been funded up until the end of December? It's utterly absurd that a bill that is probably far less than the Chairman or head of recruitments monthly wage hasn't been paid. The more I think about what has happened to our club in the last two and half years the more I get pissed off. So the owner is shotting in £130,000 a month and we aren't paying to get the kit washed or for the bus? What the fuck are we paying for??

But next week we are going to hand over a pile of cash raised by loads of well intended, hard working, decent, good people to these people who have told us fuck all.

Totally agree, makes me so sad knowing we’re probably going to be in the same position again next month until the end.

Don’t worry, Pam has said fans can watch the bills being paid when they get the money. Wouldn’t trust her as far as I could throw her.

I doubt very much you could throw her any distance at all  Unless you own a hiab to lift her up then swing her out a inch or two. sctatchinghead

According to that meeting the other night they already had money in the bank. This fundraising is to keep the club going after that/service the debt/pay the head of recruitment/line Pam's pockets - delete as appropriate

Who knows, this is my main issue. They spat out a random figure of £200k weeks ago, and nothing since. Bloody frustrating to say the least.

It was 130k a month, then it went to 200k for January which was communicated via the media, not direct, so the world rallied round as this figure was needed by the 25th or we'd go pop, bills we'rent being paid, kits confiscated, train to games.

Then at the meeting that man said we have money for January.

Then this has been said in the media that players are getting paid.

So if people are rallying n giving the club money is it now for February?

If the players are being paid are people working at the ground for free? As i thought all of this rallying around was to make sure the players are paid.

Why have we not picked the kits up if we've got money to pay the players n money from simpson and tickets for this game?

N people are just gunna strut in saturday n hand money over to mr burns n smithers.

THIS IS MENTAL!

I have a nagging feeling this whole charade has been about giving Sage one last paycheque, and then they'll put us in administration and run.
