After seeing more cries of social media for his return upon his release from a club in Malta (a clue lies in that released by a club in Malta which has a population the size of Tyneside) I ask the question has local football ever seen a better self promoter!? I googled his name after reading of his release and noticed a video on YouTube of ‘all of his goals for Pools’ which featured commentary from the same bloke who I heard doing the coverage of our game at South Shields in the FA Cup in October. Fair play to the lad he’s probably done miles better for himself than some with ten times his ability and much less desire to make it but FFS!

No doubt his close mates who are friends with him on Facebook have tagged him in their posts as well

Next year the Christmas window in Fenwick will be depictions of him scoring a tap in with commentary from his YouTube video the final scene will a figure of him facing a smashed out window with a single football on Northumberland Street to celebrate his first touch.
