...to be silly enough to remark Kenton Richardson and Connor Simpson may make way for new signings in January................................Really ............................

These 2 are ones for the future and comments like this are unnecessary waffle.

In my view both should be at least on the bench every game. Good luck to Connor in the FA Youth Cup v Liverpool and can Kenton, who at least knows how to pass a ball, unlike some first team members at Ebbsfleet, also play in that FA Youth tie.

If sold now they'd go for peanuts. Give them time and games to develop and both parties will reap the rewards.

The article was awful, as usual for the Mail. Starting the headline with EXCLUSIVE as if they are offering some kind of unique insight is just laughable, especially when it just goes on to say what everone already knows:

Laing and Harrison are poor, Thorne hasn’t played and could be released, same for Adeloye but he has actually shown promise. If this article actually bothered to put a bit more detail into positions that need strengthening, potential players to come in or looking into budget restraints it might have actually been worth reading! I don’t remember too many spelling mistakes in this article though so that’s a bonus!

Didn't it also say something about the January transfer window looming? I thought there was no transfer windows in this league.

Roy Kelly is a waste of space- fcuk knows how he ever became Mail Sports Editor - he should stick to the egg-chasing game - thats his forte. Having said that he is not entirely wrong in that some of the current non-contributors need to be shipped out in order for Harrison or his successor to strengthen a squad that is clearly not good enough to mount a serious challenge for promotion this season. The situation regarding Watson in particular needs resolving ASAP - I don’t care how good he is he’s less useful than either Lana Laing or Scott Harrison if he’s permanently attached to a life-support on the treatment table.

Unless Harrison is confident that Watson is fit enough to play at least once a week for the remainder of the season (which I seriously doubt) then he needs to be shipped back from whence he came and the money sAved spent (wisely) on a quality loan creative midfielder or a proven goal scorer at this level - or maybe even a part-timer needs to be recruited.

Scott Harrison was deemed not good enough 2 seasons ago, it's only through desperation on Pools' part that he's still at the club.
As for Laing I can only assume he was scouted by Ray Charles.

There is no transfer window for players coming to us but if our two are being chased by clubs in the football league then it applies and Pools will want the money in the kitty before they plunge for more recruits.
