First of all, today is the first Friday of December which means it's launch day for the bumper festive-ish edition of Pools fanzine Monkey Business, and it's now available to view at http://www.monkeybizz.net, containing all the usual stuff: criticism, cartoons, suggestions, spoof ads etc. And following recent tradition it includes another Bizz desktop calendar for you to download and print out, and links to some previous festive downloads.



Today is also a first for Steve Turner, Pools fan and well-known professional folk singer/multi-instrumentalist, who has been in the Town End countless times but has never actually performed in the town. He's rectifying that tonight by appearing at the Headland Folk Club in the Duke of Cleveland (opposite St. Hilda's) at 8pm. He's good.
