In season 94-95 Aldershot Town had a Manager called Steve Wignall, he was then replaced by Steve Wigley..........maybe saved money on tracksuit i/d? ,
also their player of the season in 2006/7 was the colourfully named Jumbly Wipper......who seemingly never existed on Wiki. I hadn't even realised the club has only been in existence 25 years, having previously been known as Aldershot F.C.
Famous Chelsea hardman Ron 'Chopper' Harris was Manager of Aldershot F.C for 7 months in 1985.

When I was about 15 I tapped a lass from Aldershot who had come to live with her nana in Seaton. She seemed really exotic and sophisticated.
