You’d have thought these companies were trying to advertise themselves or something in the most important time of the year for retailers.

The John Lewis adverts have got gradually shitter over the last few years, this year is crap. I don’t think anyone gives a shit though it’s advertising and you are talking about it though!

I also don’t get ‘the message’ in this one.

Yes the kid is scared of Monsters and he gets the John Lewis snow globe that they sell, to make Moz the Monster, who you can buy, go away. But it’s the Monster that gives him the gift and the Monster is nice and just played with him.

They should have gone with a more scary Monster under the bed like someone who worked for the BBC in the 70’s and made the Snow Globe from his parents. It’s all over the place he wasn’t even scared of Moz before Christmas morning they were having the rip.

I was out on Thursday night, quite happy with myself until I saw a hipster twat in a Christmas jumper.

Nowt wrong with Xmas jumpers, when worn correctly under the correct procedures, using correct protocol.

Shops spend millions every year on their Christmas advert, so I am guessing that some people do!!

Bought everybody's pressies at Marks and Spencers when I thought their ad finished with somebody telling Paddington, " Fuck you little bear."

Don't like the way they've bottled it by pretending he says thank you so they're all going back and I'm checking the Mail for alternative festive retailers.
