Imagine my delight when I realised this thread wasn't about girls hiding their Eartha Kitts at Christmas.

Sorry but it looks like sick inside......perhaps scooped of the pavement at the top of Church Street last night!

Try it on a seagull or pigeon. If you go for a pigeon, pick one with a mangled foot pecking in a pool of cold sick. If either reject the Christmas pastie, set fire to it, but don't eat it.

Oh, I don't know. Any that can do a bit of the old clockwise/counterclockwise are going to be more entertaining than the Queen's Speech.

Imagine HM doing it while giving her speech. Go on; I dare you.

One of the most depressing images I've got in my head is gulls pecking lumps of donner meat out of a puddle of fresh puke at 3am in a small midlands town.

Tsk. Her Madge deserves more respect than that.

Prefer the thought of Kate and that Markle lass swinging the tassles while HM delivers her Christmas message.

Never tried one, i enjoy a greggs Saturday morning latte n muffin on my treat day, though i've just discovered its about 1,000 calories so i may need to revise that.

Anyone noticed how useless the women are in greggs when it comes to using the app? or contactless?

Greggs stuff is awful nowadays. Light years away from my youth when it was a marker of good produce.

I don't mind a Greggs every now n then, never tried the festive bake as they sound absolutely rank.

I used to prefer Three Cooks.

Sparks was ace. As was Hills. As was Greggs until they McDonalsised themselves.

Now and then I find myself with no other culinary option than Greggs, and I always feel queasy afterwards.

There is an ellish local baker near me who do great pasties and sausage rolls that don't make you feel as if you've just eaten a pamphlet that's been soaked in Castrol mixed with Bisto powder.

Seems today was the big day. Forget sexual harassment, Brexit, Tax dodging, evading or avoidance and Priti Patel, the only show in town for the British is Greggs Festive Bakes.
