It was a decent strike, but the deflection probably did for their keeper

Blair's cross & Oates bullet header was a much better goal. Pleasing to see Oates score & that so many predicted he would do so, as he gets a lot of stick on here from other posters

I wouldn't say he gets a lot of stick. He's a limited player but what he might lack in skill he makes up for in effort. He does a job for the team and can't be easy to play against as a centre forward. I don't rate him when he plays in the wider positions but again he's 100% effort and work rate for the team. You can't knock the lad. That was a proper centre forwards goal on Saturday.

I'd agree with PJ yet also say he's the 2nd best striker we have after Cassidy. Not sure the two have played together up front but could be a decent partnership as both are grafters but with different styles of play.

Wonder why they opted for the Asda one over the closer Morrison's ones. This must be asked at the next fans forum.

I'm one of them, but his steady progress is duly noted. Now adding goals to effort he puts in.

The lead up to the pass to Adams was good too, interplay between the midfielders.

Seems to be finding himself in better positions in the box for crosses. Had a similar chance at home last week too.

I actually prefer him playing wider. It’s not like we play out and out wingers, and I think the system suites him in the sense that he can be a combination of an outlet to aim goal kicks etc at, he can run at full backs as well as the option of coming inside, and it also gives him opportunities to get in the box and chip in with some goals

Could be worth putting him at right back for the LDB ?

Danny wilson would have him there.

Come Together - an appropriate choice, you can tell by the goal celebrations that they are bonding well as a team. Great to see.
