He's some manager this bloke, he turned a Northampton team he saved from going out of the League into a team who won the league with over 100 points in one season, then won the League with Sheffield United achieving over 100 points now they're 2-1 up at Elland Road poised to go top of the Championship.

Seem to remember him being linked with the Pools job when he was at Halifax. Come to think of it, he may have claimed we actually had approached them...

I remember the rumour at the time. Interestingly there were a few on here who didn't like the idea of him managing us...

Doing brilliantly with a team only recently promoted. Billy Sharp getting better with age it seems, great 6 yard box striker. Think they will fade as season progresses, but even play offs would be great achievement first time of asking.

Nathan Thomas hasn't had much of a look in for Sheff U yet. One League Cup appearance (and goal) in August, one sub appearance in the League in September.
