If he gets picked in the next England squad I didn't even know they were playing.

He's awful.

He's got concrete divers boots on. Totally finished he should never have played for England again after the Scotland away game.

I am being 100% serious when I say Scott Loach is a better keeper.

I reckon he has been a good keeper, never a top one, but he's someone who peaked young and he's regressed massively in the last couple of years. He's not even Premier League standard anymore. You watch Southgate ignore this and keep blindly picking him.

2 brilliant free kicks that not many keepers would have stopped, if it had been Beckham, Bale etc they would have been classed as fantastic apart from that he is pants.

Scott Loach is a excellent goalkeeper for our division and we are lucky to have him in my opinion he's made some brilliant saves and kept us in some important games this season.

No they weren't, Beckham's free kicks went in the top corner the two Hart let in against Scotland were at a perfect savable height, the first was nowhere near the corner his feet are in concrete and he dives from a standing start exactly like Brighton's 2nd tonight. Both were goalkeeping errors. He's finished as a player at that level.

I have always thought he was very over rated. Its amazing how some players make it to the very top. He was protected at city with a good defence. West ham are awful at the back and that goes against him but he is poor. There are better keepers in the chamionship

I apologise, but I agree with PJ (on this subject).

What's with this sudden rash of threads about the Premiershit?

Haven't we got a game tomorrow? Chance to move into a play off place?

Utter bobbins by the way.

He wasn't even overrated he used to get slated, especially on here.

One of the best players to ever play for Pools. We've been fantastic since he left as well haven't we?

how can a joe hart thread turn into a humphreys one?

i watched the game last night n at first i thought wow thats a bloody good goal from brighton, the 2nd one, then you watch the replays... zabaletta makes about as much effort to close him down as my kids when i ask them to tidy up, obiang tries to tackle him with a fart, and the shot is a nice shot, but its at such a savable height hart has to keep that out, his starting position is poor and his feet are all wrong (just like the 2 scotland goals) he cant get the reach.

He's not the keeper he was, peaked in about 2011 when city won the league, and southgate should be now playing butland or pickford.

But he wont.

Pickford looks good but I'd like to see him have another season before he's picked. This is only his second at first choice and I've only seen him as a better than average shot stopper, he doesn't command his area but he's still young.
Butland and Forster both have experience and both make less mistakes than Hart and have done for several years, both should be ahead of him for England.

Apart from Forster is having a mare this season, you couldn’t pick him using the form argument.

For two seasons, yes he was. For the rest... especially his three years as a left back where we conceded 476,000 goals from his side because he went missing. Nah, not a chance. Overrated as fuck.

Forster is worse than Hart.

So according to this thread Loach is England's no 3 after Pickford and Butland? And to think we were happy with the N Ireland 3rd choice keeper before.

You mean like the season when we got more points than any Pools team that have in a season when he played left back. Scoring some brilliant often winning goals. He must have been terrible. I remember us winning 7 or 8 consecutive games to nil at one point, he must have been getting a new arsehole tore for him every week.

It's a good job we signed all of those better left backs than a bloke who was pivotal in 50% of the clubs promotions it's history he sounds a liability in those tough times to support the club.

We went down the season before as a direct result of his incompetence. We shouldn't have been in that division with that team. Hard to argue with the facts PJ.

Facts!? The season we got relegated defensively we were ok we didn't score enough with Boyd and Porter missing for the most part. I'd personally attribute more blame to Martin Scott and Ken Hodcroft for not sacking and replacing him.

Anyway Joe Hart is shit.

We conceded over 300,000 goals that season. All from left back. You need to take the blinkers off.

We conceded the same amount as the team who finished 4th but were the lowest scorers in the division.
