Craig Harrison has made two changes to his starting line-up for this afternoon’s National League game against Eastleigh at Victoria Park (3pm kick-off).

Liam Donnelly and Louis Laing come back in to the eleven in a new look pairing in the centre of defence, with Keith Watson (knee) and Michael Ledger (back) both unavailable.

Connor Simpson and Blair Adams return to the bench after shaking off injuries but there is no place for Conor Newton who isn’t involved this afternoon due to illness.

Pools: Loach, Magnay, Laing, Donnelly, Deverdics, Featherstone, Hawkins, Woods, Donaldson, Oates, Franks.
Subs: Richardson, Adams, Munns, Rodney, Simpson.

We seem to be a team full of crocks this season

But nervous about centre half partnership, hopefully they both see it as an opportunity though to show everyone what they are about

If it was long balls and standing off attackers then they certainly did that.

Well today what a disappointment that was i just hope harrison learns from the fact when a shit team come for a draw you have to take the game to them.

With adams fit deverdics for me should have been in midfield in place of hawkins on the plus side rodney when he come on, he posed more threat than the rest of our team could muster.

Another 3 points wasted.

If we go into a game with the intent of playing 1 up front, we deserve to get rolled over, fell asleep first half and then we start playing in the last 10 minutes when 2 down, dismal bilge.

We haven't got 1 striker really, nevermind 2.

Today highlighted how important to have a good centre back partnership. I'm not sure ledger is brilliant but Watson essentially turned our season round. Today was what expected when seen their lineup, tall and used it well. We didn't react to 2nd balls for either goal and just generally played to their hands

The midfield was not the problem today. The problem was too many hopeless punts from the back missing out the midfield in the hope of landing something on Oates' head. At least Simpson actually won a few headers when he came on!

Magnay and Deverdics were no better hitting early balls for Franks and Donaldson. Too bad this was a day when Dev's delivery deserted him.

Thats the point im making Woods and Hawkins are just grafters when do they score or set up goals ?
When deverdics played in this league for dover he bagged himself over 20 goals i think thats a bit of a give away as to where he should be playing.
