The best centre half we've had in a long time. Knows when to play it, when to clear it, a talker, brave. Need to do whatever it takes to sign him! A very good find.

Fair play, the club have found a good un in an unlikely place due to his circumstances.

Can't see us extending his stay past his current deal, even the Scottish Prem is better than this league.

Trevor Carson stated he took a pay cut to leave to go to Scottish premier league and Watson is not in the picture at his parent club. Not saying we will definitely sign him but we should be making every effort to. At very least extend loan for the season

Be nice to at least know the club make an effort to sign him permently.

And don't wait till his loan is up, go make a bid now and see what happens.

If there is such a thing as moment of the match it was when he threw himself in front of a seemingly goalbound shot which struck his head and went over the bar. Quality.

As much as we all want to see free flowing attacking football, you can't beat watching someone throw themselves in the way of a shot smashed at goal.

It's only early days but given how happy he looked celebrating after the game I don't think he'll mind extending his stay, I'm not sure St Johnstone will be as keen though given how well he's doing.

Man Mountain one of the very best and bravest defenders I have witnessed in my time and he is playing out of position

A fantastic loan signing a proper old style "die for the cause" defender who always gives 100% and is a truly superb professional. Very rare to see a loan player give every single last bit of sweat to a team and for me that speaks volumes of the man and the player.If its possible to sign him it needs sorting quickly because game by game he will only get better and better.

Ledger by all accounts is a strong centre half, not like our candy floss types who get pushed off the ball, I just hope we get him on the books.

Looks a class act, and looks like the odd goal in him as well, which is always a bonus from a centre half.
