I know people always say thats the worst pools performance ive ever seen but in 27 years I really do think that was the worst, to not muster a shot against them lot is nothing short of embarrassing!. Im getting really fed up of fitting players into a team, we needed a left winger so he signs right footed Franks and sticks him out there, are you telling me there isnt a left footed winger out there somewhere who is better than feckin jonathan franks???. Then we need centre halfs so he signs watson, a player who has predominantly played right back all his career, where does he go, left sided centre half!, just sign a centre half. Admittedly Watson certainly wasnt the worst player on show but hes just been shoe horned in, the balance of this squad is frightening.

Ive never seen such a lack of effort in a team, its as though they wanted to lose today, only a couple looked remotely interested and when that happens you will always lose. You can accept defeat when you are playing a decent side and your team has put a shift in, you cant defend performances like that though, another god awful team who just have to turn up to win a game against that spineless bunch of no hopers, its absolutely infuriating to watch as you all know!. This side cant even do the bloody basics, they look terrified on the ball and end up misplacing 2 yard passes.

You really cant blame the fans for getting on their backs, most of them deserve it and we deserve better for turning up to watch them. Do they really expect us all to be cheering and signing their names when you get absolutely zero effort back. We pay their wages and for the money we in return expect AT LEAST effort and commitment, put a shift in and we will back you, play like that game after game and you will get shit!.

Back to the team, only at our club could a player who continually makes mistakes that cost goals stay in the side, Scott Harrison is an absolute liability, its not bad luck with him , hes just utter pants!. Blair Adams looked great in a couple friendlies, now he looks like he doesnt want to be here and like a lot of players who have played well against us in the past has turned shit the minute he signed for us, same goes for laing. Ive stuck up for donnelly until today, he looks out of his depth even at this level, the future for Northern Irish football must be bleak if hes their u21 captain. Newton is just a waste of a shirt, still cant figure out what he offers in a football match, he never gets on the ball and doesnt look like he wants to either. He certainly cant play alongside Featherstone, it clearly doesnt work. On Featherstone i have to say it was embarrassing watching trying to get back when fylde were on the attack, he looked like he was waddling to me. Donaldson clearly doesnt want to play out wide, everytime he got the ball he just ran inside and got snuffed out straight away, isnt the idea of a winger to get on the outside and swing a cross in?. Munns looks like another who is thinking what am i doing here, im not going to judge him too soon as he hasnt played much but on todays showing hes far to small and when on the ball generally just gets knocked off it. Only two positives are Loach and Cassidy, watson was ok and the rest were nothing short of pathetic.

Lose on monday and Harrison cant possibly stay in this job, judging the players on body language they dont want him either which is shocking as they should be putting it in for the 3k that came to watch them.

Can it possibly get any worse??.........................yep id already bought tickets for Guiseley.

To be honest richy you are not saying anything what hasn't been said a thousand times and that is an honest observation of what is being offered to us supporters at present.
People keep on saying lets sign some players ok after a couple of games they are dog shit like the rest of them blair adams is a perfect example.
I like you will be there on Monday and i certainly dont hold out any hope and this will be the all time low getting beat of a village team so for me if no action is taken in certain areas i think this will be the last season for pools.

That was different level of shit today for me, it wasn't same old same old, we didn't match the oppositions work rate, we have players starting who are shot to pieces mentally who dread touching the ball and others are coasting until they get another manager sacked. The worst ever performance.

Far too many weak minded players who have been molicodled(if that's how u spell it) and handed everything on a plate at bigger clubs from an early age and don't understand or want it enough. They can't take criticism and when they get grief they go into their shells. Players coming from the lower reaches have had to really work hard to get to a decent level and personally I don't think we have enough of them!
