from the Echo....

"Pools have never really been able to get the best out of Amond, as he often played as the lone striker after his most prolific spell came at Grimsby alongside a targetman.
Harrison admitted that while he did want out of the club, which is understood to have yesterday parted company with operations director Mark burrows, Amond hadn’t caused big problems behind the scenes."

I think you'll find that was made up by someone with mental health issues.

It suited a few sad peoples agendas to spread it though.

He was appointed July last year so before Pam and had worked for that made up JPNG.

Burrows will be no great loss. Don't think anyone really knew what he did anyway. However apart from the office staff this only leaves Pam. She really can't do everything by herself and by her own admission know very little about running a football club. She really does need to bring someone in who can work alongside her on football related matters. Someone like Chris Turner could probably do a good job.

She should approach the Trust. Bloody hell she lets them use her chauffeur often enough.

I thought he used to work for West Ham? Or at least had some links with them?

Just checked and when he was appointed they said he "worked at West Ham in his younger days" but surely if he'd have held a significant role they'd have said so.

Looked like he could of been a steward. Judging by the state of the club his efforts contributed to I doubt he'd of been much more than that.
