I'm driving to Ayr tomorrow, off the M74 northbound.

Looks like a right twat on, anyone know the best route? Looks like Junction 12 for the A70 is the least painful.

There are no good reasons to go to Ayr man. Desist with this desire immediately and get yourself to Glasgow and make merry with fair maidens under influence of much ale.

I'm married to a fair Glaswegian maiden and I'll be there in a few days anyway.

Tak the low road, because I've heard if you tak the high road it takes more time.

No straight forward way, I would suggest take the turn off for Kilmarnock, windy road or head into Glasgow on the M74, long way round but all motorway/dual carriage.
I was up there last week.

Could you please keep your deplorably rotten craic confined to that thread you've started where you appear to be just replying to yourself with this sort of bilious tedium.

Fires in orphanages have been considered funnier.

Thanks.

I'm not scared of her but she can be really intimidating to other people if necessary.

Aye, I don't doubt it :)

Been to Ayr myself when the kids were little...went to Ayr United's ground (Somerset Park is it??) and met the chairman by pure chance. Decent fella and not a bad little ground. He even opened the club shop so I could buy sommert.

Get the train, and sit back, have a drink, and not have to worry about parking.

Went via the A70. Not as bad as it looked on the map.

The seagulls here are fookin massive. I think they must eat dogs or small children.

As i have said before there is no such thing as a "seagull" only gulls such as Herring Common. Black Headed,Little,Iceland,Caspian,Great Black Backed etc.
Please refer to RSPB website for full list or join the Gull watching club i have set up in the Mill House Stand that meets from 3-5pm ever day Pools are at home.

You towed the bairns all the way to Scotland? Sounds like an RSPCA issue!!!!!! Why didn't you let the kids in the car? Were the bairns on roller skates or skateboards or bikes? Just asking like? WE NEED ANSWERS???????
