Not what I saw. Fans giving them plenty as they came over, magnay just took it all to be fair to him and even franks came over. Not sure of much more as had to run for the train

Shades of the Blackpool game under Scotty. Hopefully this anger will galvanise players rather than manifest into something worse. From what I'm hearing , players sulked off pitch, Magnay and Franks went over to talk to fans, getting a bit of abuse initially but then respect for having decency to own up to their shortcomings. Franks missus posted on Facebook, slagging off fans for slagging off her hubby, to be fair she has a point, and I'm as guilty as anyone , but he is sh*t, post now removed apparently. And Blair/Grizzly/Tony Adams apparently had a go at fans, telling them to fookin support the players rather than barrack them.

Hope none of them are going out in Durham later !!

Didn't see franks but Donnelly, magnay and loach all came over for a long chat. Newton sulked about for a bit

From the outside the football side of the club looks a farce. And very unprofessional.

Those players have about the largest support in this league yet are meaning at them.

The manager needs to twat a few of them.

Magnay said some interesting things. Along the lines of the team aren't work g together as a collective. He understand we're playing shit but thinks we can turn it around. Donnelly also claimed he was a better than what he was playing in.

They were piss poor again today. No excuses - saw Pools fans arguing with Pools fans too. Club is a total total mess

You aren't talking good football teams either. Bromley were just organised and had a dinosaur as a manager. It was non league stuff at its finest. They even passed a piece of paper with tactics on it onto the pitch.

Cassidy had a good game. Deverdics was tidy too - why was he subbed?

We're in trouble. Team looked awful, no talking, no organisation... honestly, stinking bad.

It's a non league club with a poor manager, players who think they are better than they are. A Chair with no interest other than getting her money back (don't fall for it folks).

They only constant is a superb fanbase. A fanbase that is being tested hour by hour.

Did you go today Snowy ???

Disagree completely about the Chair with no interest. Without her and the people behind her the club would probably have folded. Understand why the flak is flying in her direction though.

Have to respect that Newton, Loach, Magnay and Donnelly had the nuts to face an extremely angry crowd head on. Could have shirked like the rest of them but came over and accepted they'd played wank again. Newton especially looks a terrible buy by the way.

She has a reputation to maintain. There are goings on to help her do this. A lot of behind the scenes shenanigans including fans groups that are, at best, shady.

Wouldn't trust anything going on at present. Sadly the football is a sideshow !

Listening to radio, Newton couldn't hit a cows arse with a banjo, same v Chester, missed a couple , he should of least hit target and or tested the keeper with, looks classic non league player tbh.

Deverdics is the 2017 version of Jon Franks , plays well first half then disappears, maybe that's why he gets subbed. Least he is starting now , and I think he deserves a run in the side of half dozen games or so until we give him the coup de grace , get in the positions , but like rest of team, finishing woeful.

The fans panels are irrelevant. They know that, the club knows that.

So.......do we all stop going. We could, but then the club would'nt be a problem anymore because it wouldn't exist. Very logical.

Some people are now making being in attendance at pools games akin to belonging to a religious cult.

Now people in these cults are very gullible and very stupid.

Breslaw is neither of those things.

Now I love pools and always have and always ways will.

But I have been released from the shackles of attending that church every week and at the same time look forward to attending when it suits me.

I also no longer feel depressed suicidal and particularly angry after a defeat. Because it's only football after all.

I think it's called karma.

It's so much better not to feel angry all week after a loss even though the heart sinks every time we concede.

And relax.

Get off your high horses it's utterly tedious.

That's your choice it's up to you I can understand and respect anyone who's had enough but almost sneering at people who still go is obviously going to run some people up the wrong way.

I'll always go when I can, it's more of a social event for me going to the match meet up with friends after a long week at work the football is a side show, you obviously get into it while you're there but I don't take any anger or frustration out of the gate with me anymore it's only football their are far more important things in life at the end of the day.

A couple of people are coming across like they are actually enjoying this start to the season like it makes them right. I'm sure that's not the case but it's how it comes across.

Agree ! When I used to go away games, it was for a good day out and a pi*s up, now fans expect an apology and a refund. 2017 and all that, fookin mental.

The internet is ruining football , certainly at this level. There are some people who look daggers at me these days cos of my comments on here, even though they are invariably correct, yet I don't know the fuckwits from Adam.Fookin sad state of affairs, but it is 2017 and all that, crazy fooked up times.

'Not going' and ' losing interest' are two entirely different concepts though.

Are they fuck. Not going is not going, whatever the reason. You are either going or you are not. It's not difficult.

Your quest for argument is possibly the worst thing that has ever happened to this place, even worse than monkeybutt.

Can you just lose interest or not go on here instead you absolute dullard?

The fact I still follow, post and talk about Pools suggests 'interest'.

Great, when it suits you, you go, no problem. But if you never went at all and kept coming on here waffling on about the 'church'

When I first started going in the 70s, we had a hardcore of around 1500, but probably around 10,000 different people went through the turnstiles every season. The gates ranged from 1500 to 5000, the hardcore as the name suggests were always there, the other 8500, went to between 1 game and 22 a season.

If people get fed up easily and decide not to go, I'm all for them still logging onto the fans message board. That suggest to me they still care, are still interested and are looking for a ray of light at the end of the tunnel ,so they can return to attending games. If they stop visiting the message board they are probably lost to the club forever. If you get down to only the 1500 attending then the club will invariably be in deep sh*t, that was the situation between 82-84.

Better crowds is the only way things will improve and success can be achieved . I would also suggest it would be good news in relation to recruiting potential new members of the Supporters Trust as well, so I certainly welcome temporary non attenders still posting on a message board. We need all the support we can get.
