Re-opens today, for those who use the Hart to Haswell walkway etc.

Always a good nite for the sunday nite Pool in years gone by.

Rarely used it, most lads in Blackhall didn't , probably why it closed, one of those strange American Werewolf in London type places, bit like The Plough in Hutton Henry. I reckon it would be a goldmine now, even if it was some Merry Go Round type place, especially with Crimdon seemingly booming now. Used to like the disco's on a Saturday in the summer months when I did venture down the road.

I went in round about this time last year and paid I think over 8 snodgers for a pint and half a coke....it should have stayed closed the robbing kunts!!!!

The lass running it now seems permanently p*ssed Its one of those pubs , like the Queens became in its latter days, where you see regulars outside throwing stones up at the upstairs window of the living accommodation, because the owner has slept in.
