I know its very frustrating that we have had a terrible start ...but come on its only three games in. Harrison will in my humble opinion get this lot promoted this season. I believe we will win on tuesday by more than one goal and go on a unbeaten run. I am gutted at the crap start like all of you but I honestly do believe the season starts on tuesday night. How about we give 100% support on tuesday even though some may feel its time to blast Harrison and the players after just three games. For those of you who disagree I still say lets get tuesdays game out of the way before anyone slaughters the team and manager. This game is vital we simply have to support the players / manager 100% on tuesday night and not turn up to have a go after 5 minutes and a bad pass etc.. Because if you hammer them from the kick off we will loose and worse still the players will loose any bit of confidence they have left which will be a complete disaster for the club. So before anyone thinks of balling and shouting from kick off remember you could be condemning your club to relegation or worse bankruptcy. If you truly love your club then please support the manager and players at least until after tuesdays result is known. For those of you who want the manager sacked after a poxy three games give ya head a shake. Imagine if Fergy was sacked like thousands wanted after his poor start at Man. U we would have lost the most successful manager ever to manage in England! I am not saying Harrison is another Fergy but he is our club manager and deserves a fair trial before being hanged in public in my humble opinion.

Obviously some fans are going over the top - its the Hartlepool way after all. Im glad Harrison has shown he is willing to change things if it aint working but its time to stick to a formation for a few games now imo. By all reports a simple, unoriginal 4-4-2 is working best yet I dont believe we ave played it in a first half yet? Id also ship some of the plethora of midfielders out on loan if possible. He must have a good idea by now which are going to effective and which are not.

Its all reminding me of Coopers (Colin) first full season in charge, spent pre season buying random players with no real plan in mind and we have ended up with an unbalanced squad.

Although some are blaming Pam, she has given the manager more than enough in funds for wages etc to do a job in this league. The squad is far too large. I suspect she is getting grief from some because she supports the Trust and for no other reason.

Feels like yet another time I wish we had Wadsworth at the club to give a helping hand and that depresses me a bit to be honest.

People are criticising what they have witnessed.

This is a two way thing though isn't it?
We all want the manager and players to do well and we ARE getting behind them. Look at the support and backing they have had already.
We give vent to our feelings on here. Nobody is suggesting that we have a go at the players and manager tomorrow night.
However blind support only lasts for so long. As soon as it becomes obvious that the problems are being addressed and we are making progress the criticism will die down.
What people are saying is that what we are watching is not good enough. I don't think that is unreasonable.
Even the commentators on Saturday were saying much the same.
The manager is saying we've got to improve, the Captain is saying we've got to improve, the paying public are saying we've got to improve and the experts are saying we've got to improve. So we are all in agreement.
The consequences of not improving do not bear thinking about.
THAT is what is motivating the fans reaction and the fans need to see concrete evidence that steps are being taken, steps in the right direction.
The rest of our season and maybe our future starts tomorrow night. Will we be in control of both.....I very much hope so.

Obviously the manager must be given more time but if you have not started to be concerned you must have rose tinted specs.
The team to date have been dreadful, his signings, if they are his, to date not doing anything.
The manager himself looks like a fat unfit slob and just mouths "coach speech"
Yes give him a bit more time but if we have made a mistake admit it quickly before it's too late like York did last season.
Can we afford to get rid of him well if we don't improve can we afford not to. Remember four go down in this league and can you imagine being in the same league as Spennymoor and Blyth Spartins not forgetting Darlington who might even pass us on the way up!

Got to agree with the colonel personnel insults are totally out of order.
Just been down for my Guiseley tickets and i must have been in there 20 minutes with 2 girls serving so the support is still there we just need to improve on the pitch.
Hopefully featherstone plays tomorrow night controls the game and we go on for a must needed win to perk us all up.

Have only just plucked up the courage to watch the 13minutes of highlights - they did well to stretch that out!
Frightening how many chances Maidenhead were given and generally through a lack of desire on our part. As has been said many times elsewhere, the lack of commitment in getting to the ball first is actually quite astonishing. Even in a few minutes of highlights the number players holding their head while play goes on is ridiculous.
Trying to find positives, we spurned loads of chances, either through crap shots or players not getting into the middle (actually that isn't really a positive at all...). Loach seems in good form and Cassidy looked bright.
Hope the players are as desperate for the win tomorrow as I am/we are.

OK I may have gone over the top but you have got to agree his appearance does not help his cause to get supporters on his side at the moment.
I probably should not submit my views at the present time as I feel so down at our present situation. I have been going to Pools since 1949 and this is the worst I have felt and I have seen some horrible performances.

So it's the long grass and our managers waistline to blame for our shit start. I'm just grateful it's not something like players attitudes or a lack of ability. At least we can adapt our game to suit the pitch and Harrison can lay off the Bishop diet for a few months and all our problems will be sorted.

We seriously can't keep being this bad, I'm backing us for a win tomorrow night with a much more convincing team performance, shorter grass and...who gives a feck what the manager looks like? Will I get good odds on him munching on some chips in the dugout tomorrow?
