Matt Pierson? Tooting & Mitcham goalkeeper?

The other is probably James Risborough, ex Spennymoor defender, been playing in Sweden last year.

From the photo of the players coming out, it looks more like the keeper is Soren Pirson, 32, German u-20 international. Was on Dortmund's books for a while, but been playing lower leagues in Germany for the last few years.

Who was number 21? Devante Rodney is 21 for next season according to the squad numbers that were realised the other day.

Very poor, just didn't get going. Triallist keeper and defender were poor. Very little movement up top.

Woods and Deverdics sat alongside the centre backs for the entirety of the second half just passing it amongst each other.

Deverdics free kick was top class

Not gonna judge too much as it was a friendly and considering the teams we put out, but we look like we're lacking pace in the attacking positions

James Risborough, ex Spennymoor, last played in Sweden

Do you not think it was a sit tight and chase the game set up for fitness rather than the result? Had two very easy wins on the front foot.

It was the ideal game for competitive fitness. Harrogate were a decent well drilled team.

I don't know it as we're new to all of this it's just what I expect.

Away games for example, I won't be getting in until at least ten past three as delayed kicks off are commonplace for dog shit clearance.

You're not allowed to say anything positive about Featherlite/Fannystone (fade to repeat) Mr Phil he's the anti Christ and at fault for all our ills and no one cares about ball retention (5 yard simple passes). People are prepared to drive him to his next club.

I know the most extreme of these views are seen on other social media but I hope the lad does get a move out of Pools for his own good, it seems even in a pre-season friendly he's getting stick and prominent mentions. For whatever reason a lot of people don't like his style of play

If he does leave who these strange people choose to be next target? Walker gone as well another favourite for these 'supporters'.

They did look flat like, it could of been last pre-season from what I saw. Was looking forward to seeing the new improved Porridge Oates, but he was very poor, albeit isolated up front with little service. Didn't see anything special in Mondial to warrant signing him. Triallists are worth a look, but generally flatter to deceive , that's why they are on trial I suppose, usually their careers have hit the buffers for various reasons, and they are looking for a way back, so no surprise that the keeper fluffed his lines, we might see Loach do the same against better opposition.

Next 2 games should give us a clearer picture. Would expect to see starting eleven v Dover fielded in these 2 games.

Yeah ! and also my mate from York thought the away strip was sh*t. He also reminded me that Harrogate beat York at exactly the same stage last season . No surely not
