Will it be postponed? Or will we be enjoying under-water carparking?

Who's going to be playing centre half as we've only got 1

I'd presume it would be 2 or 3 from Donnelly, Harrison, Nearney, Cunningham and Bates is still a player. Pretty sure Magnay could play there if required.

Just a PR exercise this game, would imagine Harrison would go with a 3 at the back to start with, Donnelly , Harrison and Magnay , then try a back 4 later with Blair.

Magnay can NOT play in central defence as anyone who went to Stevenage last season will tell you he was shocking and one of the main culprits in such a heavy defeat.

Could say the same about Harrison from most games in the last couple of seasons tbh.

Yep.

I hope that Craig H is allowed to spend some of the money we have received for selling 4 players on a top quality Centre Back. Could genuinely be the difference between promotion or not, and I don't think we've paid a penny for anyone yet

I keep thinking of the noises the cars made when told to drive over the bollard onto the field the other year, put me off that.

Horden - "search for superior moral justification for selfishness" just read that Corbyns 25yrs old son has been given £48k year job as McDonnells bag carrier. Was this part of his fathers attempt to bring in "name blind recruitment" When asked how he got the job no one would comment how he was selected. Are they hypocrites or was it nepotism or we could invent a new word Kinnockism

We're still paying off Gary's January anouncement.

You do realise that the Daily Express is just fabricated horseshit, published by a billionaire pornographer, for racist pensioners to get hot under the collar about ?

The big clue in the " story " came when they used the words " thought to " to protect themselves from being sued.

Nobody with a brain takes a word it prints seriously. Though the comments section is always good for laugh.

Exactly ! Don't know why Jonjo singled me out like , but these Corbyn haters must be searching high and low , all day every day, just to find something to smear him with, and yet its only months ago the tories were saying the bloke was a total incompetent buffoon.

Personally I don't see a problem with it, if his son has the experience, why not? as long as he is up front about it , and it is the exception rather than the norm. Yet another rather pitiful and typical , failed cheap shot at Corbyn. They have little else on him , so they resort to a smear campaign of him and his team.

What really gets my goat is this. They are attacking a bloke with the sole intention of protecting the tory right.

What I don't get is why so many people vehemently defend what is possibly the worst tory government ever. If we were in the midst of a financial boom with thousands of jobs created every day, and no poor people bashing austerity I could almost understand it.

I have been reading blokes from hartlepool who are on benefits defending the tories.

It's unfathomable.

It could only be because they see Brexit as being more important than life itself.

They seem to think Brexit is going to bring them untold riches , even if it did they wouldn't see it. Unless they wake up soon , boy are they in for a nasty surprise.

How come every topic on here descends into fucking politics.
I was gonna do a post about camel vasectomy in Yakutsk, but I know just where it's gonna end up.

Camels would be no good at it, their teeth are too blunt - painful..... I understand however that the shortage of trained surgeons means that Jeremy Hunt is shortly to import some, as after a few unfortunates have had their cobblers chewed EVERYONE will go private saving the NHS a fortune....

You mean this winter isn't going to be the snowiest since the last ice age and Princess Di didn't fart purfumed melodies?!!!

4-0 half time Hawkes and Oates with braces.

If this is the standard of non league football we're going to piss this tinpot League.

I think the National League is a bit above the Northern League 2nd Division. We scored 9 against them last year so lets not get carried away!

Did Corbyn's son score? For a club at our level he must be one of the highest earners so I have big expectations for him

Always impressed by Hawkes when I have watched him play for the Youths at Blackhall. It will be interesting to see how he performs during the rest of pre-season. Could force his way into the reckoning for a starting place v Dover.

Hawkes played ok last night and he is certainly filling out as he is getting older.
The players last night it didnt seem like pools certainly not over the last couple of years maybe now the click has been broken we can now move on.
The 3 trialists i would say would get into pools team no problem how ever we carnt sign everyone but having said that the kid mondal would or looks like he would offer a bright future for the club

Was more of a training game really as this fixture usually is, be more telling when we play better opposition.
