I already knew about it when I had my DH op in 1998. It took me about two weeks to recover and get back to the gym.

Then another 2 months because I overestimated my recovery.

Fair enough. If he was carrying an injury at the back end of last season, no wonder his form dipped.

Playing through the pain barrier hardly ever works and people rarely do themselves justice playing with injuries. If you are injured then you shouldn't be playing for me, as has (or is that as as, you after laugh) already been said he was utterly dreadful in the closing (rather important) matches of last season.

If you'd have said West Auckland I would have been really worried as allegedly they have a few Bob to spend. Glad Mellish has signed a long term contract!
