A German called Bernard Hirmer. I'm not going again until Scott Loach plays like Manuel Neuer.

German keepers are historically better than Brazilians in every way except on women. Good riddance to Adriano Basso, are there any other of Dave Jones' staff still here?

My view is that most ex keepers/goalie coaches are massively over weight. This one looks a bit trimmer, so advantage pools.

I don't trust slim ex goalkeepers.

I miss the days when you used to get the odd fat keeper playing still. I remember a bloke about 15 years ago playing for Notts County called Garden, we won 4-0, he looked like they'd picked him up off the street on the way.

We had Brian Horne, decent keeper but as fat as butter. My mate once saw him asleep face down in a kebab on York Road on a Wednesday night. Proper athlete. The games gone. I hope we see some now we're non league. Is it true that some of the teams we're don't even use goal nets and even for some of the posher clubs the players have to take the nets straight down at full time?

Having a German around the club wont do any harm , great mentality and winners. Still puzzles me why we cant sign a keeper 35-45 age group who could combine coaching with playing.

I hope that was fishing after Dave Jones's goalkeeping coach!
