Off on holiday soon and the only time I read is when I'm away so any recommendations?

I enjoy the autobiography's and just ordered the new secret footballer book/Dave Kitsons book.

Just bought TSF's new book myself.

Would recommend A Life Too Short by Ronald Reng.

Excellent book The smell of Football by Mick Rathbone autobiography about a run of the mill player and how he became a manager before finding his true vocation as a physio.

Ron Manager, "Marvellous, isn't it ?"

Football legend and a truly inspirirational read, Pools get a mention or two and I think some of the photos were taken at the Vic.

Just read Up There by Michael Walker who edits The Blizzard. Really enjoyed most of it although the sections on very recent events weren't quite as good.

David Rodigan's My Life In Reggae is turning out to be better than I thought it might be but the footy level is low.

The Far Corner is the bestest Football book I've ever read, by Harry Walter Mitty Shithead.

Wouldn't argue with you about that Bish. He's got a new one out soon about Belgian cycling that looks like it will be just as good but about Belgians on bikes.

Morbo by Phil Ball is a very good read on the centuries of regional grudgefulness that underpins Spanish football.

There's an Illustrated History of Football by the Guardian illustrator, can't remember his name but it is ace.

David Squires is his name. Got the book a while ago, and it is very funny.

Anyone who followed Pools in the 80s and 90s would find the following book fookin hilarious, I know I did, cracking read, sad but true, and the same things would of happened at Pools around the same time. This book is based on a year in the life of Rochdale AFC warts and all
