I don't see the point in a witch hunt to be honest. Having a pop at people for being suppprters is not the way forward.

Each to their own, wouldn't stop somebody who wanted to renew their season ticket.

"I was always going to get a Season Ticket for next year because I am quite curious about the new teams we will play and the different cup competitions we’ll be playing in"

Nice of Pools to allow cup matches as part of the season ticket price.

You can't blame people for wanting to be loyal Poolies. It would be great if sales and slow and send a clear message to Pam though.

Surprised its that many.
Those figures send out a message that the Club has to earn our support for a change instead of taking it for granted irrispective of who does or dosent own the club.
Over to you Pam.
Show ambirion and this town will back the football club all the way.

If I buy season tickets it will cost me 325 quid. If not it'll cost me 690 over the course of the season.

It's a risk worth taking for me.

Only 100 sold suggests people are rightly waiting to see what the clubs intentions etc are.

My reservations are to do with the ownership rather than the clubs intentions. They could sign several really good players and a big name manager but until Coxall has gone my money will remain in my bank.

I think all some people are doing is waiting until the end of the deadline to see what's happened with Coxall et al. The idea of him trousering more cash for nothing sticks in the throat

I'll buy a season ticket if and when Pools are a substantially fan-owned club, not otherwise. Even then it would be more a gesture of solidarity than an indication of an intention to go to every home game.

I've spoiled enough Saturdays in the last 5 seasons watching us get beat by mediocre sides and I'm not up for doing that in the National League.

It'll be a different story if we're winning - think I might change my Bunker id to Glory Hunter!

Glad the sites back up and running again, miss it more than sex! But on a serious note, even after attending the meeting I,m still hanging on for my season ticket till the odious twat know as Coxall has dissapeared, preferebly up his own arse and penniless.

Had to watch it on youtube but on the face of it happy with what I heard. That said how does anyone know she isn't similar to our friend Mr coxall? She can tell us what she likes. How can coxall have a 50% stake in the club and have no access to funds or say in where they go?

Pam is in advanced talks to get him out the club and probably has been for a while. I doubt he is sat there with access to the money while it all plays out.

And I'm afraid the appointment of Harrison is a massive let down.

He has fuck all knowledge of the league we're in. None. Therefore no idea what it takes to win games or the type of team he needs to build.

His background is from a league where one team are favourites to win the league every year and worse still the standard is likely to match, probably, lower than the evo-stick.

What's their average gate? Around 250 isn't it? Their ground is mostly grass banking on 2 sides. And yet here he is, managing a professional club. It is an enormous step up.

It's a fucking big gamble at exactly the wrong time. I am properly fucked off as you may be able to tell. Maybe it will pay off but fuck me, we've effectively appointed a man whose English equivalent of his previous job could've been Ramsbottom united (no offence Ramsbottom).

If he was appointed because of how he interviewed then that's bollocks too. It's not like going for a job at Asda.

Yes, I have written him off before he starts but there we are. Fucked up badly in my opinion.

Why does the average gate of the team he's come from matter?

What was the average gate of some of those teams the Cowley brothers managed before Lincoln?

But again, it's all words at the moment. Believe me I wholeheartedly want to believe her and I would normally have already got my season ticket by now but whilst coxall has any link to the club I'm doing fuck all.....and I hate it

It's the standard he's come from to where he's going to. Huge difference and zero knowledge of the division

Can't comment on the Cowley brothers....don't know their history prior to Lincoln

We needed knowledge and contacts and probably got neither.

He'll be learning on the job which is the last thing we need.

What the fuck can anyone learn from winning league after league with no competition?

Was he really the best candidate? Really? I fucking doubt it.

Bah fucking humbug

@uck me give the lad a chance only time will tell and lets be honest over the last 5 years with different managers they have not exactly set the world on fire with good football at pools its just been a constant struggle.
Football managers who are out of a job at present if they were any good they wouldnt be on the dole.
Cowley brothers PE Teachers, Braintree Town

Personally someone with knowledge of the division would've been an absolute must, a basic requirement. As it stands we have probably 2 people at the club off the top of my head who know a bit about the division, both are players and one is likely to leave.

Nobody knows anything about the clubs we'll be visiting, how they play etc

Learning on the job. Great

Braintree are the same level and they must've proved themselves there or Lincoln wouldn't have come calling

I take your point about giving him a chance and I will when I have chilled out but Jesus wept, I wouldn't even have interviewed him

I remember when Neale Cooper came to the club no one knew who he was and look what happened. He needs to be given a chance let's see who his backroom staff are going to be and the players he signs. He did mention recruitment as the way a manager can be judged let's see what he comes up with before writing him off before a ball is kicked

Worked for Chris Turner, Neale Cooper et al.

Silly excuse if you ask me. The man gas earned a chance to prove himself at a higher level

The way i look at it a lot of people might think Moreno is a good manager how ever stick him in TNS for 5 years with not a pot to piss in and ask yourself would he have won 17 trophies in that time never mind champions league football.

With the way things are we need stability. Too much chopping and changing hasn't helped the club through a challenging time. I think we need to get behind the manager, he needs a couple of seasons minimum.

Blimey under the current climate Ferguson would've been bounced out of Man utd in a season and look what he went on to achieve.

Too many bloody armchair experts following pools.

Did Eddie Howe know league 1 when he took Bournemouth into it? Did he know the Championship when he took Bournemouth into it? Did he know the Premiership when he took Bournemouth into it?

Give Craig Harrison a chance!

Clough was never a manger before pools but then neither was Hignett. It counts for shit, sometimes managers just find their right club. Give him a chance, why does he need experience of a particular league? They play the same fricken game.

No malice intended Shilts.

We will all be back at "The Vic" at some point, Hopefully sooner rather than later.
One thing i know about football is if you are playing against the top team you
Always give that bit more.

What i mean is that everyone playing TNS, Will have wanted to beat them more
Than any other team in the league.
And to keep a team at the top Motivated week in week out against (so called)inferior opposition
Takes Knowledge of not only tactics but also individual players.

Keep your chin up Shilts

Shilts I really don't get your stance here.

It appears the selection of this manager has been a far more professional process than previously. It's not as if Harrison has always been from that level of football, he was a Premier League footballer who had his career cut cruelly short and had cut his teeth at management at a lower level. Whatever the level he couldn't have been more successful at it. The fact he moved to the Welsh League to do it in the first place shows his desire to be a manager. At any level it's all about winning and man managing, he is obviously good at that. He obviously knows how to build a positive dressing room, that is half the battle.

For fucks sake give him a chance, can he be any worse than some of the shite we've seen in recent years? Judging him a terrible appointment based on knowing very little about him is wrong.
