I do think relegation is a a disaster: 109 years gone up in smoke. Nobody really believing we'd go down after the win at Cambridge, 50 days ago like. I still can"t believe it. But first and foremost it's a financial disaster. What's gonna happen to Pools now? I believe in the Trust but they are battling large odds right now.

We need rid of Coxall. We need to buy his shareholding, and I think if the price was realistic, Pools fans would bite the bullet and pay it. If the shares were offered at say £50,000 we could probably raise that within a week.

Were that to happen, then I think along with Pam and the other stakeholders we could put the club back on an even keel. With him out of the picture other investors have already said they would be willing to step in, and fans would then also have confidence to buy season tickets, which they don't have now.

The ball is entirely in Coxalls court. If he thinks however that just stepping down as Chairman is going to change anything then he must be seriously, seriously, deluded. Just looking at typical comments on Facebook tonight, it's clear many fans are saying they wont spend another penny while he is still the majority shareholder.

Amen to this, we are a town who back a cause and if we can get shot of this crook we will!

He got the club for fuck all has had a salary for the last two seasons ..how the fuck is he entitled to anymore fucking money?? ..I'm sure a visit from the right type of people could convince him of the fairness of returning the club to the fans..

All you have to look at is his past record in life/business
No success, bankruptcy, liquidation and the sad thing is he picked our club to shaft.
All the years ive watched pools and its over 50 i would not want to see bad times how ever on this occasion it would not be a bad idea to start again let him have the debt on his record and maybe we might save another club from this @wat.
If he doesnt @uckoff without a penny i for one will not go to home games untill he has gone i will just go to away games.
Some people may not agree with this post how ever whilst he is here whats the point of renewing a season ticket because he wont spend it on players or improving the club he will just think what mugs they want to give me more money

They've been training at the Vic last fortnight, I was in Durham the last week and had a walk along the riverside to see our so called new improved facilities, wasn't a soul around, saw one decent pitch, where you would spend half of the day running down a hill to retrieve the ball and a pitch that was of the Rec standard , with a couple of steel containers and a hut adjacent to it. If we are looking to stop the rot, Pam Duxbury needs to get us back to Houghall ASAP, don't know why we left, but my guess it would be something to do with money, either not paying the bills or looking to save money.

Round up of the rumours I heard last night. These come from various sources:

Coxhall values the club at £2m. This is includes the £1m he's put into the club this season (has he?) and an extra £1m for is trouble.

Pam wants her 12.5% investment back. Don't know what that is but she isn't a millionaire judging by her home address, which from Company House records is on estate like the Fens near Chorely.

Sage Investments who also own 12.5% are registered in Panama and own the lease on the ground. The Council own the the freehold. If this is true then we could end up in a situation like Darlo, Leyton and Coventry where the Club and ground have different owners.

Financial pressures on every council in the country mean that if they want to run essential services, e.g. adult social care, then if they've assets to sell they'll be under huge pressure to do so. Is our council going to do that?

Remember the redevelopment of the ground that IOR wanted to do? Apparently that's on the cards, BUT the ground gets sold. Coxall will sell it to a housebuilder and the whole lot will have houses on it. That includes the Odeon, the Mill House Pub, the leisure center and the land behind Rink End. Some sort of leisure center would be built on the car park next to the library.

In summary the rumour is that Coxhall and Co bought Pools to cash in on redevelopment. A figure of £40m was suggested last night as a potential profit once the houses have been built and sold. So what Coxhall and Co will get from that I don't know, but there's plenty in the pot for others to get involved. The turmoil of relegation is a bonus for them.

Coxall deserves nowt but a life full of misery but if we have to give a few quid to be shot of the conman then it should be paid in pound coins, each one stuck in a dog turd.
