This Pam sounds like a bit of a miracle worker to organize a meaningful meeting with the Trust at an hour's notice. Not that I'm averse to miracles like.

I don't want to appear cynical but I am interested to understand the ownership of the club now and this transition plan. I'll wait to hear what the Trust statement says

We'll have to find out what the state of play is. If the club is going to transition full disclosure of the finances is needed.

50/50 split with Goldberg. .Maybe he's just hoping it makes us buy season tickets? ?

This is an amazing turnaround and right at the minute I'm not inclined to look a gift horse in the mouth. I'd be surprised if the Trust Board didn't have some inkling of what was in the wind.

Hope the meeting tonight goes brilliantly.

Yes, it sounds like excellent news but we'll have to see exactly what is involved. Taking over the debts he's run up won't be too helpful.

Maybe it's a ploy to boost next season's, season ticket sales.

Just a thought like.

The Trust meeting will be of enormous interest as ownership of the club is still a major worry.

Just one point and one point only.

This does not mean that the Trust board will own the club, it means that You personally will own your football club. That means that we'll all need to rally round and chip in in any way you can.

There's a tough road ahead but if we can't all pull together now then you will not have a club in years to come.

So do they still own 50% each for the moment? And what's the plan moving forward?

Pam already has some great ideas by the sounds of things, the club shop has made almost nothing for the club for ages, so sacking off Nike and bringing it back in house is potentially going to raise a lot more money.

There already been local businesses in touch like I say, big and small, that want to become partners and investors, so there is potential there.

We also have 3500 crazy mental fans that love their club- that's probably the most exciting part, that's potentially 3500 people with new ideas on how to move the club forward. Worse case scenario we go down Saturday, then with everyone pulling together we shift Heaven and Earth to come straight back up.

This post makes me more optimistic than I have been in many a season. Which ever league we are in,

His big announcement was a sponsorship deal that cost him money wasn't it.

Or was that just last weeks lie.

And before that it was the master plan.

La very funny guy

Normally agree with Chip but have to say I'm very cynical here.

Rather than put the club into Administration and get nothing it sounds like this chancer wants another payday. I very much doubt he is willing to hand the club over for nothing, which he should do given that's what he got it for. My guess is that he will ask for some outrageous sum of money for his stake in the club.

Fans might be better if that is the case letting the club go into Admin then get it for nothing rather than giving this crook any more of our money.

He seems to be accusing people of slandering him, but I note he has never done anything about it.

This is my major worry but at the end of the day he's put nothing in has he?

If we go into the conference we have to pay a bond to prove we won't go into administration and can complete the season the could be up to £500000. If that guarantee isn't forthcoming we can't go into that league and we could be relegated further down the pyramid you never know we could be playing Darlington sooner than we thought.

Well bugger me, how exciting is this?!

I am livid with Coxall though. It just seemingly proves that the intention was to come in, milk the club for everything he could get as quickly as possible then do one with the cash. Despite everything pointing to him doing this, there was that tiny part of me hoping he was going to pull a rabbit out of the hat. He's run the club into the ground, presumably taken a nice wedge of cash and is on his way out after spouting a staggering amount of absolute horseshit.

Anyway, whilst the work to become fan owned is no doubt monumental, other clubs have done it so absolutely no reason we can't.

Very exciting.

Fair play for doing the right thing.

The club can now hopefully move forward with the Trust at the forefront.

Agreed, we need to see what he's prepared to do regarding ownership, and what sort of financial states we are in.... if he says "buy me out for 500k oh and by the way there's a debt of the same amount" then it's not, if he accepts a more token amount and Sage take on the debt in return for a part share then it's better.....

We don't know how much he borrowed off Access and then how much he borrowed off Sage or where all of the money went before this.

Hopefully today is the start of anyone like him or Goldberg never being involved in our club again, and fingers crossed that we've struck lucky with Sage and Pam.

I hate the guy but have to give him credit for one thing. By walking now there will be a much better feeling around the club on Saturday. I've no doubts the players can see how out of his depth he was and also the fans will be able to concentrate on the match and getting behind the team. It's down to one game again, the players can only worry about what they have to do.

Ok he could have gone weeks ago but it wouldn't have changed our position. I just hope this news is the boost everyone needs this week.

I'm still wary.

Look at the previous businesses run/owned by Goldberg. They change directors like shreddies just to deflect flack while the biz is gong down the tubes. Often directors are appointed and then resign on the same day. It stinks.
While Coxall is at the club he's up to no good.

It's like woodworm. Gnawing away at the fabric of something you value. Stops munching when it's full and resumes again later. Because it's stopped means nothing. Get the treatment out and eliminate it totally.
Then start afresh.

Cynicism is any sane Poolie's default response after years of crap, but I'm not sure how helpful getting in early with the second guessing and 'Won't get fooled again' stuff is just now.

Duxbury/Coxall are in direct dialogue with the Trust now. That is, with people with the best interests of the club and its supporters at heart. If they suddenly stop talking or it turns out to be the usual pile of bull's ordure, I'm sure the Trust will call them out.

If, on the other hand, there's a genuine opportunity to move towards shedding the debt and the people who got the club into debt in the first place, that's going to take a bit of time and, more likely than not, some things will need to be kept 'in confidence' for a while.

Dreaming here, but wouldn't it be nice to have a nice spread sheet of just how the money was distributed over the past two years.
