No need to thank us.

Hopefully you lot do stay up though, one of the few teams who bring proper numbers to Brunton Park and create an atmosphere. Should you go down we'll miss the entertainment, the league will look a lot more southern and no games will jump out when we check the fixture list next season. In any case with the trouble that can potentially follow a relegation out of the league you never want to see good established clubs drop out of it.

Newport looked pretty poor today and I think they'll lose again next weekend, especially since their best player today went off injured and all their creativity went off with him. They have a good goalkeeper but not really much else.

Was always the game I looked for Carlisle. Nothing beats a game where's there a bit of an edge to it. Oh the memories. Regardless of today, we've had it. Wouldn't surprise me if Newport got beat off County who seem to be playing alright at the minute, and we get dicked off a team who have been on holiday for the past month.

Total shite us, ran by dickheads who are more than happy for us to go out altogether, and your lot were wanting the board and Curle out while still being in the playoffs. Only when you're in the shite do you then realise how good you had it.

We've been wanting the board out for a few years now, since before our relegation from League One. The Football Supporters' Association actually did a survey of all league club's fans on their opinions of their owners and we came in the bottom ten with the likes of Orient, Blackpool and Charlton.

It may seem odd for someone looking in from the outside since they aren't making any headlines in the way that some of the crazy owners like Orient's are, ruining their clubs; but there's been a steady deterioration in the relationship between the owners and the fans. It's more like Villa during the Doug Ellis years. There's been no investment in the club and while the owners describe themselves as mere custodians, keeping the club going while they look for investment, their old fashioned ways have put off more investors than they've brought in and then they decided to spend two years in talks with a mystery investor who turned out to be Yahya Kurdi. The fans knew this guy was bad news from the start but it took them two years in which they knocked back offers from investment from local businesses. Because of the secrecy of the old boys' club, nobody knows what's going on and there have been several occasions where owners have become angry and swore at fans who wanted answers.

There haven't been any real calls for Curle to go though, we think he's doing a great job. Had we had the funds to build a squad with some strength in depth I'm sure we'd have gone up automatic this season, we've had a ridiculous number of injuries.

What's going on with Coxall then. I remember when you guys wanted IOR and Hodcroft out and presumed at first that Coxall was your saviour, but your complaints just seem to be same old same old. Is he even worse than Hodcroft?

They have a good goalkeeper?

That's us screwed then.

Well on the upside, the only reason I know their keeper was good was because he had so much to do. Made a couple of outstanding diving saves and one fantastic double-save. I reckon Stead and Ameobi will have their defence for breakfast.

Thank you CarlisleCumbrian and your team. At least you did your bit for Pools yesterday when at one point it looked curtains. The agony is prolonged. Good luck in the play off but don't get Exeter.

If we make the playoffs we're almost certain to be against Exeter. They'll finish 5th whatever happens and if we win we'll finish 6th, if we don't win then with the amount of teams right up our chuff I reckon we'll drop out of the play-offs altogether.

We face Exeter on the final day too. My hope is that they're taking things easy in advance of the playoffs and/or let us win because they'd rather play us than Blackpool.
