Part of me doesn't know why I'm writing this but maybe you can pass on to the players

Basically I'm an exile working in Sri Lanka. Yesterday at work I had to be taken to hospital where I've been diagnosed with a severe form of dengue fever, a debilitating tropical disease passed on by mosquitos. To be frank I've never felt so ill in all my life.

On top of that I've had to cancel a holiday this weekend to celebrate my wedding anniversary. I'm obviously a bit gutted about all of this and I'd be in a really bad place if we go down today.

I'm a committed poolie of 20 years and I'm just asking you to fight for the shirt do your best and remember how much this club means to the fans, not only the ones at the game but poolies all over the world.

Go out there and give it your all

Get better soon and look after yourself.

Players need to find their orchids today and make up for the pitifully abject last 2 displays.

However hard it is for them is magnified a million fold for us fans

Wishing you a speedy recovery AABB. A disgrace that it has come to this, but they have a chance to redeem themselves. Fookin ell, they should be doing it for themselves before anything else, where is their pride and self worth man, we shall soon find out.

Yes Andy get well soon do you hear? The spirits of Kenny Johnston, Watty Moore, Tony Parry and our Brian (not Derby's or Forest's) will be with you and watching. Make sure Never Say Die means just that. Preaching over get on with it and do it for Andy and all of us who will be here after you are gone to pastures anew.
