I know no figures have been suggested but according to the BBC if Newport are relegated they would lose £400,000. Assuming this would be the same figure for us as it's money from the football league.

Lets be honest about losing money does it make any difference to the supporters given the dross we have been watching for a while now and thats with all this money we get at the moment.
They have destroyed our club so for me lets just hope the people who skim the money out of the club are as pissed of about relegation as much as the supporters are

I wish the football league would withhold all money from pools.

If that ensures certain grubby fingers didnt get it.

We will just have even shitter players. We had a view of the future in the January transfer window. Snouts in the trough and zero investment in the team.

Who in their right mind would part with more hard earned for another season of that ? Not me that's for sure -only so much crap you can take in one lifetime.

Chip you have became a victim of plagiarism from that utterly bizarre Gavin Smurthwaite/Blue Stripes/Brian Clough character on the supporters Facebook page.

Seriously does this bloke have genuine issues he's behaved like this online since the first message boards started you'd have thought at some point he might grow up, unless he has actually has got something wrong with him.

If Newport can generate an annual turnover of £2 million on 2000 gates then our turnover must be £3 million+.

Sort of dosent add up that we have to sign non league players and offer the out of contract players take it or leave it pay cut new contracts.

Signing non-league players isn't the worst strategy for teams at the bottom end of League 2. Look at how some of the promoted teams perform when they do come up.

The problem is that we don't seem to get the right ones. And compared to those promoted teams our team spirit is clearly pants!

I'm amazed at where some of our ex players end up (i.e. in higher division teams). We do not have a good recent track record at getting the best out of players!

Spot on ! Some non league players doing very well in League 1 never mind 2. Like you say its not signing non league players that is the problem , but the fact we are either signing the wrong ones or the right ones , who then seem to go downhill very quickly after they have joined us. I would beg to differ on our ex players, in my experience very few go onto better things once they have left us, though Nsala and Carroll appear to have slotted in seamlessly at their new clubs.

Not necessarily all non league players but look at some of our defenders over the years, Austin, Duckworth, Magnay and Donnelly, start off very well then for no reason at all suddenly tail off, it has got to be something to do with the way the club is run, granted these things happen in football, but at HUFC it happens with such a regularity it has to be more than just a coincidence.
