Somebody a while back said to me why worry about Chelteham? So may variables but basically Cheltenham will be safe with a draw so we need to beat them and hope that Carlisle push for that play off spot and beat Newport. Can't really see beyond next Saturday's game except that would see Newport at home on that fuckin' awful pitch for their all ticket clash with Notts County (not a bad side on form at present). As for us against Donny? I suppose it depends on their game next Saturday at home to Exeter (no pushovers). A faint ray of hope might be that Cheltenham have to go to Pompey for their last game.. Of course after the roll over of Pools today...No abuse please, just trying to see one last positive if there is one. Can't really envisage what the atmosphere at the last home game against Donny will be like. Your thoughts bunkerites appreciated thanks. :(

It'll be a last day job for me, I said it in January and it could be the first thing I've ever been right about, other than saying Dave Jones was a twat after that talk-in.

Edit: Im going to delete everything else I said there realising it's a load of bollocks and I can't even convince myself we'll get a point at Cheltenham never mind three.

Forget it.

No just the arithmetic says we have a chance, watching the players in last 2 weeks, they've thrown the towel in.

Very reluctantly I now agree with you ali (24 hours after the dust on yesterday begins to settle). Cheltenham need a point and even if they were to settle for one and safety and Carlisle get back to early season form and do in Newport its all down to the last game and only a blue and white nihilist paying homage out on Middleton Pier all week to the spirits of 57/58 would believe there are points to be had against Donny. Anybody having the cash to spare lump it on Newport last game at home to Notts County. Well said Pools fan of 52 years. The dreaded day escaped so often in the past approaches. Methinks now Cheltenham will go all out to batter our ineffectual team and it will be over next Saturday. Atmosphere at home to Donny? Haven't a clue.
