I've emailed Jeff but it may not be that straightforward contractually. That's my words by the way not his.

No contractual issues at all . I don't have a contract as it was just an honorary position

Well that's cheered me up a bit!

Couldn't face a long night on here raking over the coals... daft as it sounds, I've always believed Pools can't go out of the Football League. I'll never forget the atmosphere at the games over the Easter holidays in 1972 when an honest bunch of journeymen footballers pulled off the first great escape - and the comparison with yesterday's gutless display didn't bear thinking about. There was not ONE MOMENT when a win looked likely.

Anyhow, seeing Jeff's second brilliant rant in 6 days and hearing he's agreed to take on the role as Trust President is the best possible pick-me-up.

But what's the reference to "Stelling and Barron" on the Fan Owned Club thread? Has Micky signed on for the Trust too? Or has he realised he's still quicker than Matthew Bates and got his boots out?
