Then what? The outlook is as depressing as the state we're in now. The only prospect I can see is we'll have none of this end of season great escape shite as our relegation will probably be confirmed by October, that is if the club still exists and hasn't become the Parkarama Car Valeting Centre, where you can sit in the stand and watch your car being valeted, season tickets available.

Are we doomed next season even if we do survive? Failing to find s rich sugar daddy may mean administration is inevitable. With it the 10 point deduction that goes with it. Cuts then come in even further (not sure where like). Making a great escape even less likely.

The only ray of sunshine would be the departure of the owners and coaching staff. I could stand all the other shite coming our way but unless we lose the millstones around the clubs neck camping out in a nuclear winter would have more appeal.

It's an impossible question to answer really. I fear Snowy's analogies to be too true; But on the other hand if this really is a learning curve for new owners and a Transitional season then Bob's your Oyster for next seasons promotion push (too much PMA?)! Alas I'm with Snowy.

Speaking on behalf of the Micawber faction of Pools supporters, I remain confident that Something Will Turn Up.

There are too many financial problems facing the club which is clear for all to see. Also the motivations of the current owner are questionable. My worry is they may lead us into administration the consequences of which would be disastrous and would overshadow the crap performances of the team/manager

The only thing turning up will be the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse.

Normally I try to avoid criticising players. Managers and owners are different, it goes with the job. I even try to just hope we'll pull through, but this is the perfect storm and all three elements are making me shake my head. We can't ignore it. Even if we survive it'll be a short respite because our future is like a drifting ship in a minefield.
