Good piece in the mail this morning urging fans to get behind the lads and pack the Vic.

I'm coming up with a couple of yellowbellies. Bring a friend bring anybody let's pack it out and be the 12th man.

C'mon 3 points a must.

Well said. It's happened before and can happen again.

I have no doubt the fans will do their bit, my concern is the players won't. Fans can only do so much, the majority is down to the players.

I dont know how I feel about Saturday. Im not sure if this current mob is still in control as it stands if I can bring myself to buy a season ticket next season as iv no idea where that money will go. What league we are in doesnt bother me one bit but the owners do. If I dont get a season ticket it means giving up the seat iv had for about 20 years and shopping etc with the Mrs on Saturdays.

If we get beat Saturday then theres the chance we could be down by the Doncaster game and if so I doubt il bother going to see us get stuffed in which case Barnet could be my final game.

I hope we keep it tight early on on Saturday, get a few strong challenges in, a bit of effort and aggression and get the fans even more behind them than they already will be.

An early goal for Barnet will be disastrous.

The fans will play their part, but the players have to step up to the mark on Saturday. If they don't, the fans can turn.
End of the day, they can walk away, we can't.

Funny, I have never felt this way before, but I will not be renewing with these people in charge of my club . The seat question oddly enough is my biggest concern. Weird, the place is in chaos yet my main concern is my long term seat sctatchinghead

“What professional footballer wants to go out and not perform in front of a crowd?” quote from Jones... he obviously hasn't been told about last year at Plymouth, or a number of other times I have seen Pools players not bother. I hope it doesn't happen tomorrow. Get your boots Jackie.

Of course I will be giving it my all but this lot haven't got another point in them.

Jones......what team are you putting out? Same old non performers, same old non tactics.

That leaves God to save us.

I will be there tomorrow, along with my daughter. Although she was born in Donny she is a Poolie and I am responsible for that. I took her to her first game, took her to Cardiff, took her to Darlo on that famous day, took her to the promotion parade in 2007 and took her to all corners of the land following Pools. On September 28th 2013 we both walked out of the ground and haven't been back. All this week she has been pestering me to go tomorrow basically saying that, no matter what the owners, manager or the players do, we the fans have a responsibility to turn up and do whatever we possibly can to get us over the line. She said that if we go out of the league I would never forgive myself if I didn't do my bit. That is why I am going.
I first walked into the Vic in 1952 with my Dad, who was at Pools first ever league game so between us we have covered quite a bit and it breaks my heart, and would break his, to see it come to this. I hope the people responsible for getting us to this point realise the effect their actions are having on us fans. Hartlepool United is not just another football club or The Vic just another ground. They are a part of our lives, a big part.

The smart money would be on only 1 change - Deverdics moving to non-tackling left back so Woods comes back into midfield.

Don't like the thought of Deverdics up against Jamal Campbell-Ryce, or what Akinde might do, or Nelson getting a couple of free headers in the box...

But Fryer is going to have a blinder and our forwards will find their scoring boots! (I think it's called visioning...)

Vowed that I'd not give another penny of my hard earned to the current ownership regime until we get some clarity of their true intentions (I've been going on and off since the late 70's, regular for the last 14 years).
I can't not go tomorrow. Feel I need to be there. It's eating me up what this lot are doing to OUR club.
