Talking to someone who was in the tunnel yesterday as the players were waiting to come out and surprised how the Carlisle players were mouthing off and psyching themselves up for the game while our lot stood like mute witnesses. Not surprised at all .

A hard fought draw is the best I think Pools can manage.

Orient 1 Pools 0 very late goal with 7 or 8 minutes added on. It happened to us years ago(can't remember exactly when) at Orient - late goal and sending off (Pools) So Orient 1 Pools 0 8,400 Poolies 350.

If they took their foot off the gas we still wouldn't be able to take advantage.
They'd have to be comatose and we'd still struggle to get a draw..... temporary paralysis is our only hope.

Shows how bad it is when a team who is basically being battered week in week out is the opposition and not many expecting a win. Don't see newport winning so a draw probably keeps us out of bottom. 2
