I think we're approaching the point where we may be putting it to the test. We have a club that's like one of those Hollywood back lots, y'know it looks like a street, but on closer examination it's just a false front made up from some plywood to look the part.
A dispirited, overwhelmed team long crying out for reinforcement and now retreating mentally.
A bizarre, eccentric team management that would only make sense if it were in a TV series on how to relegate a team. As if a cult had bought a football team and were applying weird theories remote from sanity and reality.
Owners like Big Foot, some people believe it exists, we've seen the grainy pictures but no tangible proof.
I see our club being towed to the breakers yard and we're just bystanders on the beach, helpless and fuming.
This is heartbreaking.

Darlo fans rallied and saved their club.

We can rally and save ours too.

All I would say is save your money, don't give this guy another penny ready for when it goes belly up.

If nothing else, the farcical end to this season has been a watershed. There will be zero goodwill towards the current owners and manager even if by some miracle we stay up.

Extreme cost cutting that should never have been necessary in the first place has brought the club to the brink. Personally I'm very heartened by Jeff Stelling nailing his colours to the mast yesterday. Like all true fans, he is appalled by the current state of affairs and an ideal figurehead to rally support for a new beginning.

To be clear, I'm not suggesting for a minute that he should (or would want to) get involved in running the club.
